The adoption fee includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Have you seen my Eeyore?? I mean, searching all over and he seems to be hiding from me!! Tigger is the name and I do NOT bounce on my tail but honestly, my tail is LONG enough to accomodate me :) I was found with my friend, Honey, left on a country road alone and scared we were. A towel, bowl of water and some food were left for us but we were still out on a country road with NO HOPE!! So, I failed to mention that our "owner" left us on a road, less than 1 mile from the rescue............. SO, you know what happened, right?? Those rescue people saw us, as they were leaving from the rescue, and..... YOU GUESSED IT!!! They SAVED US!! We are the sweetest and nicest pair, we love our people now and no we don't have to be adopted together:) I am a happy happy guy, love to play and run and hang out and PLAY. He came to our rescue tiny, starved, and with a limp. He is now a big, healthy boy and is ready to find his happily ever after. He has been raised among dogs of all sizes and is great with everyone. He doesn't have an ounce of aggression and is submissive or even-keeled with other dogs. He is also great with cats. He follows me without a leash, doesn't run off, does well in the crate and loves water. He is currently still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. We have frequent transports to the locations below. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of the locations.
