Story
Rosita is a silky, soft, very sweet puppy. She gives gentle kisses and she’s very tolerant with kids. Rosita is 10 weeks old, 12 lbs, and we think she is a terrier and lab mix, but with rescue it's a bit of a guess. We do know that her mom is an adorable and sweet, white wire-haired terrier that weighs about 30 lbs, but we don't know who the daddy is. Rosita is described by her foster mom as one of the leaders of the litter. She is smart, independent, sassy, and brave. She is curious to investigate new places and things. Rosita is absolutely adorable, and has the sweetest puppy eyes. See her here: https://youtu.be/5FB96mDx404?si=kRPyB9PV4DWvL-hK This litter of scruffy & silky mixed breed babies is soft, fat and healthy, and sweet and social!! They give gentle kisses, love to be cuddled, and will make amazing family companions. Their foster is taking very good care of them while they await a forever home. They are going to be gorgeous! It’s hard to predict, but they will likely grow to be medium size. They still have puppy breath, and they will melt your heart with the amount of gratefulness and love that they show you. This litter really is SWEET as they come. See their personalities here: https://youtu.be/7tjw7pyE8lI?si=U6pEbpEUUOv5Uz6D They are still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Currently fostered in Texas, she is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready to travel to her forever home in the PNW or NE! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65aab7c5a22db78bf00b9f51 Please email Leah.Smith@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. Story
Video of Poppy now: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JfNL3x4OSbA Video of Poppy when he was first rescued: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Q9nNafh25VI Poppy is about 7 months old and appears to be a plott hound mix. He came to our rescue tiny, starved, and with a limp. He is now a big, healthy boy and is ready to find his happily ever after. He has been raised among dogs of all sizes and is great with everyone. He doesn't have an ounce of aggression and is submissive or even-keeled with other dogs. He is also great with cats. He follows me without a leash, doesn't run off, does well in the crate and loves water. He is currently still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. We have frequent transports to the locations below. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of the locations. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find him a local foster or he will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) - New York (Albany and Buffalo) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed, heartworm tested (negative), on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention. Story
Hi, my name is Jack and I am a super, duper sweet boy looking for my forever home. I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 72 lbs. I am a big fan of the hoomans and other doggos and I would be happy to have a doggo friend to hang and play with. I love being active and I'm super smart - hey we could be hiking buddies. I am a big boy at 72 lbs so probably best I don't go to a home with the really littles, I would hate to knock one over, or even sit on one! Can you find room in your home for me? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Hi, I'm Baby Dog, and though I am not officially a "baby"... I can still be your baby! I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 70 lbs. I'm a super sweet boy who is looking for his forever home. I love all the peoples and the doggos. I am quite a big boy though so probably best I go to a home without the really small peoples because I don't want to be knocking little ones over. As with all hounds, my nose works really well and I am a smart boy, so I would love to be active and kept busy. Maybe even a nose work class, they sound like fun! Find out about me soon and let’s start the New Year off together! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Story
Honey is a sweet and smart dog. She loves to play and is very treat motivated. She would be a great dog to learn tricks. Her issue is that she is very high energy for our small apartment. She is non aggressive to other animals like cats and dogs, but wants to play with them. Our cat doesn't want that and runs away which results in her chasing the cat around our small apartment. So you will need a dog savvy cat if you adopt her. She is reactive on leash and requires training that we are not equipped to give her. She is crate trained and is completely silent when we put her in at night and during the day when she needs quiet time.
