Story
Ranger is the kind of dog who makes you feel like you’ve known him forever. With his curious nose and steady presence, he’s always ready for the next adventure—especially if it means being by your side.At almost 3 years old, this handsome Plot Hound is full of personality and purpose. He’s smart, observant, and loves to explore the world around him. Whether it’s a walk, a hike, or just time spent outside taking in all the smells, Ranger is happiest when he has room to be himself.*Ranger is not good with cats and will need a cat-free home. He’s not just looking for a place to stay, he’s looking for someone to share life with. A best friend. A partner in adventure. Someone who understands that sometimes the best moments are the quiet ones spent together. If Ranger sounds like your kind of companion, submit a pre-approval application on our website.

🐾 Foster or Adopter Needed for Mocha 🐾 Meet Mocha, a gentle boy whose owner sadly could no longer care for him. He is currently at the Cape May Animal Shelter and we are looking to get him his permenant home or foster home. He is already becoming a staff and volunteer favorite thanks to his calm and friendly personality. 🤎 Mocha is an old soul who simply enjoys being close to his people. He walks beautifully on a leash and stays calmly by your side. While he loves running in the yard and chasing toys, don’t expect him to bring them back—he prefers the fun of the chase! ✨ Amazing leash manners ✨ Loves pets and leans into his humans for affection ✨ Previously lived with a dog and a cat ✨ Crate trained ✨ Sweet, calm, and loving temperament Mocha would make a wonderful family companion and loyal best friend. 🏡 He urgently needs a foster or adopter. Please share to help Mocha find the loving home he deserves.

Story
Meet Grundy! He is a 5 year old plott hound. Grundy is special needs, he is blind, but does find his way around really well once he’s familiar with his space, and he has seizures. He is on medication for the seizures, and has done really well on them, however this is something he’ll need for the rest of his life. He’s a very sweet, snuggly boy, he’s also very goofy and energetic. He is crate trained and house trained. Due to his size and him not being able to see, our other dogs and cats do not get along with him. This isn’t fair to them or him, as he’s kept separate in the home from us and them. He is good with older kids who understand dogs(10+ years old). We’d love to find him a perfect fit. He would do best in a home where he has another dog who is tolerant and okay with being bumped into similar in size(60lbs).

Meet Harper! This brindle beauty is the total package — looks and personality. With that gorgeous tiger-striped coat and those soulful eyes, Harper turns heads everywhere she goes… but it’s her sweet, fun-loving personality that will steal your heart. She’s got that perfect mix of playful and cuddly — always down for an adventure, but just as happy soaking up love right by your side. Harper is incredibly smart, eager to please, and already picking up on routines like a pro. She does great with other dogs and loves being around her people. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or relaxing after a long day, she’s just happy to be part of the family. She up to date on vaccines, Spayed and microchipped.
