Hey there, I’m Gunner, a 3-year-old Plott Hound/Terrier mix with enough energy to power a small city and enough love to fill a whole home. I’m all about fun, running, playing, adventuring, and showing off my signature zoomies that could win awards for enthusiasm. Once I’ve gotten my wiggles out, I turn into a total cuddle champion, ready to melt right into your lap like it’s my favorite place on earth.I’m a certified Velcro dog, happiest when I’m close to my people, soaking up affection and handing out tail wags like freebies. Whether we’re exploring the great outdoors or snuggled up on the couch, I’m all in, all the time. Hello, Meet Bugsey! He’s our family’s sweet doggy. We rescued him as a puppy in 2021. He is amazing with kids and loves to play and snuggle. Our hearts are breaking having to rehome him. We have our third baby on the way and we’re expecting a long hospital stay due to medical issues. We’re home pretty much all the time with Bugsey and our lives are changing to where that will not be feasible. He gets anxious when he’s left alone but does well in his kennel. We hate to make this choice but feel it is best for him and our family. He will come with his kennel - bowls - toys - blankets - food - etc. He loves to play with our small children and explore outside! We’ve never had issues with him running away or getting aggressive towards our kids. He really is the BEST dog! The last picture is our daughter as a baby in his bed with him - he LOVES kids and doesn’t mind sharing his bubble. There will be a small rehoming fee just to make sure he goes somewhere safe and will be happy!

With just a bit of patience and understanding, I`ll show you that I`m a social boy who loves attention and learning new things.I just want to please my humans, but I do get a bit nervous around too many new people, so a quiet, low-traffic home would be ideal for me.
