Hello, Meet Bugsey! He’s our family’s sweet doggy. We rescued him as a puppy in 2021. He is amazing with kids and loves to play and snuggle. Our hearts are breaking having to rehome him. We have our third baby on the way and we’re expecting a long hospital stay due to medical issues. We’re home pretty much all the time with Bugsey and our lives are changing to where that will not be feasible. He gets anxious when he’s left alone but does well in his kennel. We hate to make this choice but feel it is best for him and our family. He will come with his kennel - bowls - toys - blankets - food - etc. He loves to play with our small children and explore outside! We’ve never had issues with him running away or getting aggressive towards our kids. He really is the BEST dog! The last picture is our daughter as a baby in his bed with him - he LOVES kids and doesn’t mind sharing his bubble. There will be a small rehoming fee just to make sure he goes somewhere safe and will be happy!

Hello, my name is Hugo, and I`m a bit shy around new people, especially in the kennel here at the shelter. But don`t let that fool you! With just a bit of patience and understanding, I`ll show you that I`m a social boy who loves attention and learning new things.I just want to please my humans, but I do get a bit nervous around too many new people, so a quiet, low-traffic home would be ideal for me. I`m sure I`ll warm up to you in no time, and once I do, I`ll shower you with love and affection.I think it would be best for me to have another friendly dog in the home to show me the ropes and help me build my confidence. I`m a quick learner and love to play, so having a furry friend to romp around with would be fantastic!I may not show well in the kennel, but I promise that with a little patience, I`ll show you what a great companion I can be. So if you`re looking for a loving and loyal pup to add to your family, please consider adopting me, Hugo!
