Story
Video of Poppy now: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JfNL3x4OSbA Video of Poppy when he was first rescued: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Q9nNafh25VI Poppy is about 7 months old and appears to be a plott hound mix. He came to our rescue tiny, starved, and with a limp. He is now a big, healthy boy and is ready to find his happily ever after. He has been raised among dogs of all sizes and is great with everyone. He doesn't have an ounce of aggression and is submissive or even-keeled with other dogs. He is also great with cats. He follows me without a leash, doesn't run off, does well in the crate and loves water. He is currently still in Oklahoma but can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. We have frequent transports to the locations below. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of the locations. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find him a local foster or he will go back to Oklahoma on the next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh) - New York (Albany and Buffalo) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed, heartworm tested (negative), on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention. Adoption fee: $485 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma) Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/0hp49oo5CKA Mustang is a stunning Plott Hound mix who loves playing with other dogs, water, is great with cats, loves people and walks well on the leash. He is also mostly potty trained but will need some re-training in a new environment. He is a good guard dog as he picks up on movements and noises that the other dogs don't (he knows the neighbor's cows are coming to the fence line before any of the other dogs) but he doesn't just yap for no reason, only to alert. He is submissive with other dogs and doesn't bother the cats, even if they swat at him. He was scheduled to be euthanized at a small rural shelter in Oklahoma with hardly any foot traffic that euthanizes entire litters of puppies for space because no one wants them, so it was through no fault of his own that he was slated to die. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Seattle/Tacoma) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Illinois (Vandalia) - Indiana (Spiceland) - Ohio (Columbus) - Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: neutered, heartworm tested (negative), on monthly heartworm prevention, on monthly flea and tick prevention, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, microchipped, dewormed. Story
🐾 Meet Luna! 🐾 Hello! I'm Luna, a spunky young girl we think is a Plott Hound/Pittie mix, but with rescue, it's always best guess! My DNA test will be a fun one to do, though! Whether you're an active runner, a nature enthusiast who loves hiking, or simply enjoying a game of fetch in the backyard, I'm your perfect companion! I thrive on fun and love being by your side. I'm also a quick learner and have already mastered sit and shake! What's our next trick? I enjoy other four-legged friends, too! I would love to have another playful brother to romp around with. I even did well meeting the Rescue house cat! This could change in a home, but initial reactions were good! I'm a fun, sweet, and playful pup who wants nothing more than a family to call my own. Is that you? 🐶💕 Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6606f4f9d6af3b6b17019846 Please email elizabethbower@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. We can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 13,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
THE BEST family dog! This adorable brindle girl is as sweet as it gets. When TInsley met her 4 year old friend she was ever so gentle and careful with her. Tinsley even shared her toys with her new friend. With the cutest smile and and face that lights up when you are around, Tinsley will keep you laughing and smiling. Tinsley is the ultimate companion and a true social butterfly! This bundle of joy is bursting with personality. You’ll never find another pup like her! She’s always smiling and loves everyone! Joyful and adventurous, Tinsley enjoys exploring, car rides, walks, playtime, kids, dogs, and of course, toys! Tinsley is also the funniest playmate for other dogs! She would love to have another dog in the home that is as equally playful so she can play chase and romp around in the yard. She has a fun playful energy level and loves to cuddle and nap after a good play session. She’s a snuggle bug with both human and doggy friends. Great with kids as young as 4, she would make an excellent family dog. Tinsley is still working on her leash skills and promised to work hard on polishing them while she waits for you. At approximately 2 and a half years old and about 50 lbs full-grown, she’s the perfect size for all your adventures. As a rescue, her exact breed and age are a bit of a mystery, but that just adds to her charm. We are guessing she is some sort of pittie hound mix. Tinsley is a one-of-a-kind friend who can’t be matched. From laughter and fun to snuggles and TV watching, to car rides and adventures, she is ready for it all! Don’t miss out on this incredible girl! Story
Hi, my name is Jack and I am a super, duper sweet boy looking for my forever home. I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 72 lbs. I am a big fan of the hoomans and other doggos and I would be happy to have a doggo friend to hang and play with. I love being active and I'm super smart - hey we could be hiking buddies. I am a big boy at 72 lbs so probably best I don't go to a home with the really littles, I would hate to knock one over, or even sit on one! Can you find room in your home for me? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Strawberry (named after the family's favorite ice-cream) is a rescue dog and has been in our family for 5 years. He is very sweet and very social. He loves dog parks, walks and playing with any dog toy he can get a hold of. He is self sufficient when he is alone but he does get bored if nobody is around. He is used to having someone around most of the day. He loves the warm weather, when the sun is out he loves to relax outside. He gets along with other dogs - sometimes too well as he can bug the other dog is they do not want to play. Strawberry is a very easy to please dog and a great best friend. We are not asking for any money for our sweet boy, we are looking for the right home for him where he can thrive and get all the love that he deserves.
