Meet Jazz — a sweet, shy little puppy with a playful spirit just waiting to shine. Jazz can be a bit timid when she first meets new people or finds herself in unfamiliar situations, but with a little patience and kindness, she quickly starts to come out of her shell. Once she feels safe and comfortable, she transforms into the happy, bubbly puppy she truly is.
Jazz loves spending time with other dogs and absolutely lights up when she gets to romp around the yard, play chase, and explore with her canine friends. Having another confident dog in the home could really help her continue building confidence and learning the ropes. She’s curious, playful, and already showing signs that she’ll grow into an incredible adventure buddy — whether that means hiking trails, weekend road trips, park days, or simply tagging along for everyday life with her favorite people.
She has the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and gentle sweetness, and there’s something incredibly rewarding about watching her confidence grow a little more each day. Jazz is looking for a family that understands shy puppies sometimes just need a little extra time and reassurance to become their best selves.
Jazz is currently working on potty training and kennel training and is making progress with consistency and routine. Like any puppy, she’ll continue thriving with positive reinforcement, patience, and lots of love.
Jazz is a 5-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, 4DX testing, microchip, and spay. Jazz is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. She is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
