Story
Hi, I’m Bambi! I’m about 5 months old, and I’m just starting to figure out how awesome life can be! I didn’t get much human interaction during the first part of my life, so I can be a little shy and unsure when I meet new people or explore new places. But once I get comfortable, my sweet and curious side comes out and I promise, it’s worth the wait! One thing I do know for sure: I love other dogs! Big ones, little ones, I love them all. Being around other pups helps me feel safe, and I learn a lot from watching them. If you already have a dog, that would be a huge bonus for me! I might have a bit of herding dog in me, because I like to bark at and try to herd the cats in my foster home. I’m not trying to be rude I just can’t help it! If your cat doesn’t appreciate that kind of energy, it might not be the best match. I’m working really hard on potty training and learning my manners. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and when my foster family’s out of the house. I’m told I’m cute as can be (I mean, just look at me!), and once I trust you, I’ll be your very best friend for life. All I need is a little patience, a lot of love, and a cozy place to call home. I can’t wait to meet you! If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $400 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations for my age ##2424475##

Story
Hi, I’m Arlo! I just arrived in CO this week and am settling into my foster home with another large dog (a GSD.) I haves learned my name quite quickly! I was found as a stray in Texas and nobody came forward to claim me! I’m a big baby who loves to cuddle. I kind of act like a giraffe who doesn’t know how to use my legs, and I like to jump up to wrap my legs around you to give you a hug! I am a playful puppy that needs some help building up my confidence. I am potty trained and foster mom says I’m doing great in my crate so far. It sometimes takes me a few moments to settle down. I love other dogs and will play with them nonstop after I’ve gotten to know them for a day or so. I would do well in a home with or without another dog. The things foster mom is working on with me include: walking on a leash-I go back and forth and in circles, so I am learning leash pressure. I like to jump to say hello and will jump when I’m excited. We are working on crate training at different times so I do not develop separation anxiety. I am very scared of new noises, especially big and loud ones. I will bark if I am unsure of a noise, so will need a family who is willing to be patient with me. I was quite literally starving on the streets and in the shelter, so I will eat any food I can get my paws on, so we are working on patience around food and knowing that I am going to be fed. Please note: He is expected to grow into a large dog and is already pretty tall and active. His foster mom says he has the largest paws she has ever seen and he could be 100lbs. He will need to go to a home that is going to continue crate training (no questions asked!) and preferably a home with a yard or someone who will keep me on leash outside until I am more confident and have learned recall. COMES WITH: - NEUTERED -MICROCHIPPED - TWO FREE ONE ON ONE DOG TRAINING SESSIONS - UP-TO-DATE ON SHOTS (age appropriate) - DEWORMED/FECAL TESTING - WELLNESS CHECKS - LEASH, COLLAR, FOOD TO GET STARTED, TREATS AND TOYS IF THEY LIKE THEM - FI COLLAR SUBSCRIPTION - COUPONS TO LOCAL PET STORES

Story
Hi there, I’m Bono. I am around 9 years old and around 80 lbs. I was surrendered to a kill-shelter in Missouri after my owner became unable to care for me. I am a well-rounded dog and would do good in most any home. I’m a laid-back boy that likes to do my own thing, but also like to be nearby the other pups and people. I’m extremely dog friendly and would also do well with kids. My fosters haven't seen me interact with cats yet, but based on my demeanor they are confident I would do well. I’m a sweet boy that is looking for a family to cuddle with me and give me the love I deserve. I know how to sit and I walk well on a leash. I am a confident and curious boy who would love to go home with you!
