Meet Jill — a gentle, sweet girl with a soft heart and so much love to give. Jill can be a little shy and nervous when meeting new people or experiencing new environments, so she’s looking for a patient adopter who will let her settle in at her own pace. But once she feels safe and comfortable, her true personality shines: a happy, affectionate, playful puppy who gets excited to see her people and loves being part of the fun.
Jill absolutely loves other dogs and really blossoms around canine friends. She enjoys playing, exploring, and following the lead of confident dogs, so she would likely do wonderfully in a home with another friendly pup. She also loves attention and affection from her humans, but she’s not pushy or demanding about it — she’s the kind of dog who is simply happy to be near you, soaking up love and companionship whenever it’s offered.
She has a sweet, sensitive nature that makes every little milestone feel extra rewarding. Watching Jill gain confidence, wag her tail with excitement, and learn to trust is incredibly special. She’s the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and will make an amazingly loyal companion for someone willing to give her patience, kindness, and encouragement.
Jill is currently working on her potty training and kennel training, and she’s making progress every day. With consistency, routine, and positive reinforcement, she’ll continue building confidence and learning what it means to be a beloved family dog.

Jill is a 5-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, 4DX testing, microchip, and spay. Jill is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. She is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
