Story
Spotty is such an adorable guy! He can be a bit insecure at times, but with a little encouragement he warms right up. Spotty appears to enjoy the company of other dog and a multi-dog household might be a great fit for him! Due to his tender nature, HSBV will only rehome him to a family either without children or with children over the age of 10.

Story
This pup will be available to meet starting on 7/25 This sweet girl is eager to learn and wants nothing more than to make her people happy. She's still working on commands like "off" and "no," but she's attentive, responds well to guidance, and is making great progress. She has never attempted to climb the fence and has been a wonderful house guest. From foster - “ This girl is the perfect companion. Completely potty trained, great on the leash and in the car, and perfect parts playful and lazy. When it’s playtime she loves chasing thrown toys, catching lizards, and playing with toys. After a bit of running around and playing she'll be ready for her cuddles and naps. She's a huge cuddle bug, loves all the kisses (giving and receiving) and will fall asleep with her head in your lap. She can nap at any point in the day but after 9:30 pm she can't be bothered by anything...literally I had to carry her to her cage!! No alarm barking just a little bit of attention whines. Same girl, same"     She absolutely loves other dogs and has done exceptionally well with my personal pups. Her favorite thing is playing with them and showering them with kisses! She also spent time with Bridie and did fantastic, showing off her friendly and social personality.       When playtime is over, she's happy to curl up next to you on the couch for some quiet cuddle time. She was not tested with cats, so her behavior around them is unknown.       She has excellent manners around food and treats and has shown no signs of resource guarding. Today, when Vilmer wanted the pig's ear she was enjoying, she simply backed away and let him have it without any issue.       She's a loving, affectionate companion with a playful spirit and a gentle heart, and she'll make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.     They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Meet and greets are by appointment only.  An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.   More questions?  Read our FAQs here: https://4p4l.org/faqs/  Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.  ##2794415##

Story
Spots is excited for a fresh start in Colorado. He has heard it`s just his kind of place - a place for grand adventures, blue skies and where dogs like him find love. He`s ready for all of these things! Spots` previous family reported that he enjoyed other dogs but didn`t appreciate sharing his food. For this reason, a dog meet-and-greet is required if considering him for a multidog household. Due to Spots` enthusiasm for life, Spots` future family should have no kids or kids 16 or older.
