When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! This friend has just arrived because their owner passed away. While owners can provide some history on their pets, our medical and behavioral teams will still evaluate them. Dogs that have lived in homes previously typically have some training established, but we cannot guarantee that those behaviors will remain consistent in a new home environment. They are pending interactions with other animals at the shelter until they have been cleared by our vet. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and we will update their bio with more information as we learn. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! He’s an energetic dog and loves to run around and play! He’s a big cuddler and loves just laying on the couch with you as well. He’s very well trained and listens well. He do paw, roll over(sometimes), sit, lay down, and he will ever stand and twirl at times! He loves kids and is very good with them. I just want a loving home for him with someone that can take really good care of him. I acquired him a year ago by him being a stray “running off” from his old owners. We called they didn’t want him anymore so we kept him. Now a lot of life changes has happened and I can keep him anymore sadly. He deserves the world and I just can’t do it at the moment. He has had his first round of shots and everything last year. I haven’t been able to get him for his updated ones this year. He is very healthy! Thank you for taking the time to read this!
