Story
Addie is a well-rounded queen! She loves to play with friends but she can also keep herself entertained. She has proper manners and knows when it's time to chill. She is crate-trained, likes dogs, kids and cats! She's a triple threat!  Addie has a little stranger danger when meeting new people but she warms up pretty quickly.   The best home for Addie would be one with another dog or two; she prefers them to be smaller than her because larger dogs scare her. Cats are no bother, but if there is a daddy in the home, he will need to be patient and provide some of the treats and meals.  She is a little more nervous of men, but food is the way to her heart and after a few days of treats, a daddy is acceptable.  Don't miss out on your chance to meet sweet Addie. Addie is 2 years old, weighs 45 pounds, is up to date on vaccines, spayed, is on monthly flea and heartworm prevention and her adoption fee is $250Apply to meet Addie at mpravl.org All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label. Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC. October 1, 2026, 1:33 am

Story
We are looking to rehome our pointer/pit bull mix, Delta. Delta is a rescue we adopted from Baltimore, MD around 2018. She was 7 months old when we got her. We know she had been abused by her previous owner and wasn’t even potty trained when she came to us, but has come such a long way and has grown into such a sweet, affectionate, loving girl. This is a difficult decision for us, and we want to be completely transparent about why we are looking for a new home for her. Delta needs to be the only dog in the household. She has gotten into some serious fights with our other two dogs over the years. These incidents are not constant, but they have happened repeatedly, and the most recent fight occurred very close to our 2-year-old son. With another baby on the way, we cannot take the risk of our toddler or our new baby accidentally being caught in the middle of a fight. We want to find someone who understands her history, and can provide her with the calm, one-dog home she deserves.

Story
She is very sweet somewhat timid until she gets used to you. Never have to worry about someone stealing her. Got her 7 years ago from the humane society. I am now 83 years old and I am having a lot of balance problems, she has caused me several falls falls. Would like to see her in a new home shortly. I feed her Beneful healthy weight. I have plenty of food for her which you can have and several types of dog treats. I am not happy to give her up this is a necessity. Text (xxx) xxx-xxxx
