Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Litter of 2 female chihuahuas surrendered at approximately 8 weeks old from a local CO family. Woman purchased puppies from an individual selling them at a flea market to save them from an uncertain future and contacted a community member who works closely with CPR for help placing them. *Please note I am extremely popular and already have a lot of sign ups.* From the foster: Tiny energizer chihuahua Penelope is fully charged and very active until she runs her internal battery down. Then she becomes the most cuddly little girl. She loves toys, especially stuffed animals. She carries any size stuffed animal around with her. She loves other dogs no matter their size and she loves older kids. She also loves to play with her sister and she and my little pups have all bounded. Being a puppy she has sharp teeth and little nails that are sharp as well. I’m sure smaller kids who have been trained how to interact with a puppy would do fine with her. Other dogs would be great for her. She is using puppy pads at my house. She’s just too tiny to be outside. She sleeps in her crate all night long. Penelope is the sweetest little girl. She will be a great family dog, no matter the size of the family. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Violet is the most precious little girl. At 3.4 pounds she can run fast and play hard. She loves stuffed animals. She carries toys around with her and loves them, she likes to sleep with her stuffies. She loves to snuggle and to be petted. At just 2&1/2 months old Violet still has a lot to learn. As her foster I have kept her in my house because she is so little. She uses puppy pads, but misses sometimes. Violet loves people, bigger kids and all dogs. She would be fine with a 4 year old who knows how to treat a dog. Small children who have not learned about dog rules might be a problem for her. She’s a puppy with sharp teeth and nails. She is fun loving, but can accidentally bite. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
