Meet Midnight – A Shy Sweetheart with a Big Heart Midnight is a 5-year-old Pomeranian weighing 7.8 pounds, and he’s a gentle little soul with a soft, kind nature. He may be shy at first, especially in new situations, but give him a little time and patience and you’ll see his sweet personality shine through. Midnight is very food motivated, which makes building trust and confidence easier and more fun. Treats are the quickest way to his heart, and they help him feel more comfortable and brave as he adjusts. With a calm home, a gentle routine, and plenty of kindness, Midnight will blossom into a loyal and loving companion who’s quietly devoted to his person. ---------- Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
