About Me
Meet Rufus
This charming little gentleman may be small in size, but his heart is absolutely overflowing with love. Rufus is a young Chihuahua with an old-soul vibe—calm, gentle, and happiest when he’s right by your side soaking up affection.
Rufus is the definition of a people dog. While he gets along well with other dogs and will happily play with a resident pup now and then, his true passion is his humans. He’d choose cuddles over toys or treats any day (and he takes his job as a professional snuggler very seriously). With his soft eyes and loving nature, it’s no wonder we call him a little Romeo—he’s always ready to steal your heart.
This easygoing guy is leash trained, potty trained, and wonderfully low energy. He’s perfectly content lounging you on the couch, following you from room to room, or simply enjoying a quiet moment together. Rufus coexists peacefully with cats and doesn’t show much interest in them, making him an easy addition to a variety of homes.
After being found as a stray and making his way through the shelter, Rufus is more than ready for a forever home where he can finally relax, feel safe, and give all the love he’s been saving up.
