Out of his group, Chandler is the shyest. The quiet observer. The one who hangs back just a little, taking it all in and hoping—very softly—that everything is going to be okay. And the really special part? He’s already starting to believe it is. He’ll take treats gently from your hand (a very brave move, if you ask him), and he gets excited to see familiar faces. It’s like watching someone slowly discover that the world might actually have good things in it… and that people can be kind. Chandler came from a hoarding situation where life was very different from what most dogs know. So now, everything is new… and a little confusing… but also full of possibility. He’s looking for a calm, patient home—likely without small children—where he can take his time learning all the things other dogs take for granted: A soft voice that tells him he’s safe Gentle hands that give pets instead of uncertainty Meals in his very own bowl Leashes that lead to little neighborhood adventures And those magical little things called treats (he’s already a fan) Another confident dog in the home would be a huge help, showing him the ropes and reminding him that life can actually be pretty wonderful.
