*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS *** Meet Gopher, a little guy with a big personality! Gopher is the best of both worlds: a playful little pup who loves to run and romp in the yard, and a snuggly companion who really just wants to be near his people. He enjoys his small-dog toys and playing with other dogs, big and small. In fact, one of his favorite activities is a good game of chase with his 45-pound foster sister, a fellow Saving Grace alum. Clearly, Gopher doesn’t let his size hold him back! Gopher has good home manners and isn’t destructive. He takes care of business outside and holds it through the night, although he’s still working on letting his people know when he needs to go out. He has also lived with cats and generally ignores them, though he may bark if they hiss at him. He doesn’t go looking for feline friends, so he’s happy to give them their space. When meeting new people, Gopher can be a little shy at first, especially around men, but give him a bit of time and patience, and he’ll start to warm up. He comes when called, but he does have a bit of an adventurous streak and can be an escape artist if left alone in the yard. His favorite place to be is wherever his people are, so he’ll be happiest with a family who enjoys spending time with him. Small but mighty, playful but cuddly, Gopher is ready to find a family to call his own. Come meet this sweet little guy — we have a feeling he’ll steal your heart!

He’s a pretty quiet little guy, too, so you won’t have to worry about a yappy Chihuahua! He gets along well with dogs both his size and larger, and he has lived with cats, generally ignoring them.
