Story
Toast is the cutest thing since sliced bread! His head looks like a Pomeranian, his body looks like a Dachshund and Terrier mix, and from behind he looks like a Chihuahua. Toast loves sleeping on your feet and standing up against your leg begging for pets while he gazes into your soul. He’s quite friendly while also a little shy. Toast is very playful and can entertain himself with toys, sometimes even throwing them for himself to go get. He’s great with other dogs, even if he hasn’t fully figured out how to play with them yet. Toast’s little underbite is the best and if you look at him at the right angle, he has two little chiclet teeth that are always visible. We would recommend a home with no shared walls, as he likes the sound of his own voice. He’s about 1.5 years old and around 8 lbs. Toast is in foster in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/toast You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Naners here!! 4 year old whimsical chihuahua. I look more like a little fox and sweet as can be. Don't let my scruffy look fool you, I am as soft as they come. A bit shy in new places. Give me some space and time, and before you know it I'll be getting as close as possible. Appear to be housetrained, love a kennel to go get space in and sleep all night! I'm a bit scared of new dogs but I just show them my belly or give them a little growl when its too much. A confident mellow doggy sibling would be nice but I probably would love being solo, too. I really love being next to humans and will make myself cozy on your lap or on the couch next to you. I need a patient family that will teach me to be confident and brave. Come meet me! If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##2757268##

Story
There's nothing quite like the fun and silliness of a sweet puppy...and then they put their heads quietly on your shoulder breathing their warm baby breath. These very loving puppies are so pure and vulnerable that it's unbearable to think of them homeless and hungry or in a high-kill shelter with euthanasia pending due to a lack of space. Fondue, at just about 2 months old and almost 2 lbs (anticipated to be approximately 8 - 10 lbs or so when full-grown) was facing the end of her life before it ever began. Farfel's Texas rescuers are compassionate and loving and couldn't turn their backs on this gorgeous girl with the great temperament. They rescued Fondue just in the nick of time to spare her life. Fondue is believed to be a Long Haired Chihuahua / Pomeranian mix. This was an educated guess by Texas veterinarians since it's very difficult to assess the lineage of a young puppy. All we're positive of is that this little girl is absolutely irresistible. We do know that sweet Fondue is starting out with great energy. The excellent results of her puppy temperament-testing ended with a transport ticket to Colorado and a new life comprised of love and respect. Fondue is appropriately playful and inquisitive for her young age. She's also so loving and cuddly. This little girl is very excited to snuggle with those that are gentle and kind to her. This early personality that's emerging in Fondue is engaging and so sweet. We think she'll be a gift to a dog-loving family. Since Fondue is just a new puppy, she's a blank slate just waiting for a kind and patient human to show her the way. She has all the potential in the world to be an awesome family companion. Our sweet Fondue will form firm bonds with her family (as well as other dogs and humans) and learn positive socialization skills through positive reinforcement training classes. This training experience will make a profound difference in a dog's future behavior and their relationship with their people. It does take time and commitment yet pays off a thousand times over when you have a dog that can accompany you out in the world with excellent behavior. We feel very strongly that every dog and their family deserves the opportunity for formal, positive reinforcement training classes. We therefore aren't willing to adopt Fondue out to a home that doesn't choose to offer her this training opportunity. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of approved positive reinforcement / force-free trainers in your area. We're open to Fondue finding her forever home with a retired couple or individual with lots of energy to train and enjoy a silly and super-smart puppy. A younger family that works from a home-based office would be a great choice as well for our social puppy. Fondue appears to enjoy her relationships with all humans and dogs. We would prefer however, to place her in a home with older kids only (tail pulling or rough treatment by young kids will create an adult dog that's fearful of children). Older kids can also be active participants in a training regimen and friendship that's so important in a puppy's development. Fondue enjoys her relationships with other dogs as well and would love playing hard in the sunshine with a canine friend on a beautiful day. Fondue will be up to date on her vetting / vaccinations to be in line with our commitment to adopting out only healthy dogs. Current research is clear that Fondue is far too young to be spayed. When she reaches 1 year of age, it's far safer for her to be fixed. Farfel's is happy at that point to cover all costs toward her spay. Fondue will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Wednesday 6/24/2026 but won't be ready to go to her new home until approximately July 7th. Applications are currently being accepted for this beautiful and very sweet best friend. An application can be found at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/. If interested, please fill out completely and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting Fondue please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool we have to determine a great match for this very deserving pup. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Story
*We will not be hosting adoption events on June 20. Instead, we will be offering private adoption appointments for pre-approved applicants from June 14-21. Please contact us to learn more!* Meet Tink! This feisty little fluffball is guaranteed to bring smiles wherever she goes. Goofy, active, and full of personality, Tink may be small in size, but she tackles life with all four paws and lives every day to the fullest! Tink loves being in the middle of the action and has truly never met a stranger. She adores children, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is even cat-friendly. With her playful spirit and zest for life, she'd thrive in a home that can provide plenty of physical exercise and mental enrichment to keep her happy and engaged. After a day filled with adventures and fun, Tink is more than happy to settle down for some snuggles with her favorite people. Tink's only work-in-progress is her potty training. She is not yet fully house trained and will need a family committed to providing the routine, patience, and consistency necessary to help her continue building good habits. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion with a big personality packed into a tiny body, Tink may be the perfect addition to your family! Tink is a 2-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Tink is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and kennel trained. She is working on potty training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption!
