Buster may be tiny, but he has enough personality to fill a whole house. Left behind when his owner moved out of state, Buster came to rescue with his mom and two other dogs. Thankfully, that chapter of his life is over, and now he's ready for a family that will never leave him behind. At just 4 months old, this adorable Pomeranian mix is the happiest, spunkiest little guy you'll ever meet. He likes to put on a tough act by barking at strangers, but don't let that fool you. Within seconds he's running over to cover them in kisses and make a new friend. Buster loves to cuddle, sleep with his people, and be wherever the action is. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and is also great with cats, making him an easy fit for almost any home. Everywhere he goes, he brings laughter, affection, and endless tail wags. Good fit: someone looking for a happy, affectionate puppy who loves everyone and wants to be part of the family. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Story
Hammie is looking for a new home with adopters that have experience with tiny dogs. He is mostly healthy but will need more dentals in his life than most dogs (has already had 2) and has luxating patellas on both knees. He needs to go out frequently but will stand by the door to let you know, and eat a few small meals throughout the day to keep his blood sugar up since he is so small. He prefers not to be around small children but generally loves people and is happy to make anyone a new friend! Because he is so small I would prefer him to be in a house with other tiny dogs or just cats to feel comfortable that he is going to be safe. He is such a sweet little man and is so happy and loves his people so much. He loves napping on and around his people and cat friends, but also loves his own little space if he feels like he needs a break. Leashed walks are hard for him because the only harness that fits is a cat one, so he prefers to ride in a stroller or just run around the yard for fun!
