Story
Thor was just rescued from California and is looking for his forever home In Northern Colorado. He is very sweet and affectionate and loves to lick you 😂. He is great with most dogs. He definitely wants to cuddle up in the bed and be with his human! He's about 2 years old, 17 pounds and no know health issues or allergies. Good with kids.

Story
Pappy is a 1.5-year-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix with a huge heart and a confident little strut. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and a loving, playful companion who thrives when she’s close to her people. Pappy is sweet & affectionate, and she absolutely loves going on walks. She’s friendly with strangers, does well in the car, and is easy to transport, though busy public spaces can make her a bit nervous. At home, Pappy is best left crated if she’s home alone as she can be a bit anxious (Work from home? Retired? You’re our target audience here) . She’s good with other dogs, though she can be a little bossy and isn’t afraid to communicate when she needs space. She’d also be perfectly happy being an only dog. Pappy can be exuberantly mouthy when she plays and barky when she’s protecting her home (thank you, Chihuahuas, for your service). Therefore, she is best suited in a home with kids 8+ and a fenced in yard. While she considers herself lucky for making it out of the shelter and into a foster home, Pappy had a streak of bad luck that landed her with not one, not two, but three issues with her legs. 🤦🏼‍♀️. She suffered some sort of accident prior to entering MHCR that left her with a fractured pelvis (and shattered femoral head) and a luxating patella. These items were successfully addressed surgically and Pappy was almost cleared for adoption….then she ran her mouth to a French Bulldog. That little scuffle landed her with a broken front paw. Thankfully, she just needed a splint for a couple of months—no additional surgery required. Alas, it’s officially time to find her forever home. Pappy is being fostered in Lone Tree, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/pappy/. Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children, and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Snow White, and I am a gorgeous, bigger Pomeranian girl who was born 3/23/21 and I weigh 18 pounds. This big new world is kind of scary so I must have an all-adult home and a socialized sibling to play with. I was very scared but within 24 hours, I am seeking pets so just be patient with me. If you have been waiting for a beautiful Pommie girl, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Snow White 122124-21  December 1, 2025, 12:28 am
