Story
Zuko is a stunning chocolate merle Pomeraninan/cCihuahua mix. This boy has a full Chihuahua personality though - he is definitely the lead singer of the band. He wants to be admired and flaunted but he has plenty of things to do. When he has finished his rounds of autographs, he chooses to hang out and cuddle. Maybe, like other leads, he is a bit insecure and is searching for a place he belongs; a place he will be able to transition on his own time and learn what it means to be a real member of the family. You see, Zuko, came to us after his previous (3) families gave up on him....they didn't allow him to become secure and confident and just wanted to smother and carry him around. Well, sometimes, that's okay.... but sometimes, in Zuko's case, it takes time and trust. He is ready to try but asks that you prove it first. If you think you have what it takes to give this handsome, fun, posh, slightly insecure, deserving boy a chance, apply today and talk to his foster mom about how you can set him up for success and create an unbreakable bond.  ##1294123##

Story
Nito is darling! He was on an adventure with his best buddy Blue when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 2/4. He has a micro-chip and sadly his family did not come for him. Nito is 2 years old and weighs in at 16 pounds. He is a sweetheart and too cute for words. He knows to sit when asked. His favorite time is play time. Wouldn't you like to wake up to that face every morning? Ask for ID# 7228 Run 301. He is neutered and micro-chipped. He has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
My name is Midnight Sue, and I’m a 2-year-old, 5-pound Pomeranian. Some joke that I look like a little bat or werewolf, but I’m just spunky, funny, and totally adorable. My favorite things include cuddles, treats, and toys.   I’m the definition of a lapdog, and I  bond quickly with my person.  Whenever you sit down, I’ll be there. Whenever you lie down for bedtime, I’ll be there. In fact, my adopter will need to be careful when going out the door because I try to dart out to stay with my human, which can be dangerous.   I understand that going outside means potty time, and I’m also good about using potty pads. That's good because I am a tiny dog with a tiny bladder, so I have to go potty  frequently. I’m okay with walking on a leash, but a fenced yard might be better or easier. I will go in a crate if needed, but I don’t really like it much, and I’m not naughty if left out.   I also like other dogs and will share the couch and my human with another dog, as long as I still get my own space and attention. I do a little growl if another dog encroaches too much on either of them. I’m not sure if I’ve met a cat, but I’d probably be OK with one.   I’m in good health and will be spayed on 2/11. My fur is a mess due to a bad hair cut and a some skin irritation (alopecia). But with proper nutrition and flea prevention, my fur will look much better.   I can’t wait to find my person! Apply to adopt me today!           An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          February 8, 2025, 11:27 pm

Story
❗Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Sunny with a story of miracles👋 Sunny was found on a street in South Korea at one year old in 2018 and taken to a high-risk shelter, but she was already in serious condition presumably caused by a car accident. Her pelvis was fractured, and her right hind leg bone was broken into pieces. She was saved from euthanasia by the rescue team and hospitalized for months (Jun-Sep 2018) due to the surgery and recovery. She was miraculously given a new life thanks to the rescue. That same year, after a few months of foster period, Sunny found a forever home, which was another miracle we thought of back then. Five years later, however, the rescue team got an unknown phone call requesting to change Sunny's ownership. Long story short, her family decided to give up on her after years, sent her to a pet shop, and paid them, all this without discussing it with the rescue team. This pet shop basically receives pets from owners and in turn, sells them out, and to do so with Sunny, they needed to have Sunny's ownership switched from the rescue team to the pet shop so they contacted the rescue team, and that’s how the rescue team learned Sunny's situation. Eventually, Sunny was able to safely return to her original rescue team, which is another miracle in her story. Despite all these setbacks, Sunny's sweet nature and zest for life shine bright. She needs one true chance to find her real forever family that loves her unconditionally. Recently, she has been moved to her foster home with two other dogs. Sunny is eagerly waiting for her own home now! • Personality: Sweet, Playful, Sociable Sunny thrives on love and affection and gets along with all people and furry friends, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a lovely and affectionate fur buddy. She is such a cuddle bug! She likes snuggly cushions and blankets. • Affinity with - Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs regardless of the size - Cats: Okay with street cats. She sometimes tries to chase kittens, but she stops when told. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults, especially elders including men / Okay with kids - not much interest in them. 💫She will be a perfect fit for most types of families! • Walking Manners: very good • Housetrained: fully housebroken, okay with both pee-pads and outdoors. • Separation Anxiety: None • Bathing/Brushing: very good • Barks/Howls: she barks when excited or when she wants something. • Car Rides: very good • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Health Issues: Due to the serious injuries that she got from an accident right before rescue, her pelvis is not perfectly placed (incomplete union of iliac) even after she had surgery immediately after being rescued. However, currently, she doesn’t show signs of pain when walking or running. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Sunny, please don't hesitate to apply!
