Story
SWEET MOTHER–DAUGHTER DUO BONDED - NEEDS A FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME  (Mama Mia: gold dog in main pic; Shari is white/gold dog) Shari is a mix of Pomeranian/Chihuahua, while Mama Mia is a mix of Chihuahua/Dachshund (best guess) Meet this adorable bonded pair who, together, weigh less than one small dog A loving Chi mix mama, MIA (~2 years old, 9 lb) and her precious Pom-Chi mix daughter, SHARI (~8–12 months old, 7 lb) are in need of a foster home. Both girls are exceptionally sweet, gentle, and people-loving. They’ve been around children and do great with them, making them wonderful family companions. Despite their tiny size, they are not big barkers and have calm, easygoing temperaments. &#226&#156&#168 Health & Temperament Highlights All vaccines completed Will be spayed soon Fully tested & heartworm negative - On prevention for HW and Fleas Very affectionate and friendly Great with people and kids Quiet and well-mannered Mia is a bit more reserved w/new people than her daughter This mama and her pup have been through a lot together and are deeply bonded. They would truly thrive in a safe, loving foster home where they can decompress and continue to blossom. &#226&#156&#168  And their bond is something special  &#226&#156&#168 They love to be held, and Mama Mia is always watching out for her baby. When little Shari was picked up and walked away by present foster Mom, Mia stretched her neck and kept her eyes locked on her — literally tracking where her baby was going with the human - so endearing. Story
Klaus is a 7-year-old ginger Pomeranian with a curious spirit and a heart full of love. He adores car rides and is always excited to tag along on adventures, whether it is a quick errand or a day out exploring, especially if it means spending time with his favorite people. At home, Klaus enjoys the simple joys in life: chewing on a good bone, curling up on the couch for cuddles, and soaking up affection from his loved ones. He has a wonderful balance of playful energy and cozy companionship, making him an ideal partner for both adventures and quiet nights in. Loyal, affectionate, and always ready to be by your side, Klaus would thrive in a home where he can be included, loved, and treated as part of the family.

Story
6 year old Rucker was an owner surrender at a local animal shelter. He was adopted right away but then the holidays came and all the family came to visit. Rucker a small little guy with lack of social skills was overwhelmed with guest and little ones running around. He should have been decompressing and getting comfortable in his new home, but instead got overwhelmed and scared and ended up biting his new owner. He went to another county shelter for his 10 day bite hold, the family decided that they would not be taking him back at the end of the hold. Rucker was marked rescue only.Rucker is adjusting to his new life in a foster home. He started off terrified of the other dogs, but has learned to tolerate a few of the smaller ones. With slow introductions, he could live in a home with other small dogs, but would do best in a home as an only dog. He is perplexed by cats, and not a fan of small children.  If we had to guess, Rucker probably lived his whole life with a single female without many visitors (people/animals). He thrives one on one, but not in a crowd. Once he knows you, he is good, but reserved around strangers.  Like a typical Pomeranian, he has a lot to say. We would not recommend him in an apartment, condo or other multi-family dewelling.  He walks well on leash, is crate trained and house trained.   adoption fee $300 includes spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms .To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic ##2617103##

Story
Meet Kobi! Kobi is a funny 5 year old pom ( born on Halloween)  that prefers a more easy going life - one where he can devote himself to his person with every bit of love he has ! Kobi was raised as an only dog, a “covid dog” ..  it’s a term we hear too often, and it usually means a dog didn’t get all the socialization needed because of so many restrictions on us all in 2020.  He’s a GREAT dog and just hasn’t had many opportunities yet to be around a lot of dogs. We think he will be just fine with other dogs and we know cats aren’t an issue. But he loves his person so much we think he’d prefer being a world traveler with his new BFF! Kobi is looking for a relatively calm household with a tried and true Pom person and no children - teens and up only.   Interested in adopting sweet little Kobi? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org PLEASE NOTE: Previous first hand ownership experience with purebred Pomeranians  ##2662807##
