He walks great on a leash, and is the happiest when he is by your side. He is not a barker, nor a jumper. Fill out and application if you want to meet this diamond in the rough. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Zuko is a stunning chocolate merle Pomeraninan/cCihuahua mix. This boy has a full Chihuahua personality though - he is definitely the lead singer of the band. He wants to be admired and flaunted but he has plenty of things to do. When he has finished his rounds of autographs, he chooses to hang out and cuddle. Maybe, like other leads, he is a bit insecure and is searching for a place he belongs; a place he will be able to transition on his own time and learn what it means to be a real member of the family. You see, Zuko, came to us after his previous (3) families gave up on him....they didn't allow him to become secure and confident and just wanted to smother and carry him around. Rob is a 1-year-old Pomeranian and weighs 12 lbs. He is  a happy  boy, and he  really seems to be  smiling  a lot of the t ime.  He spent  most of  his first year being raised in a barn, so he is learning new things every day. Rob is incredibly smart and  picks up on  things  very  quickly.  He just hops and bounces his little way through life with his sweet personality.   Rob  enjoys playing  with the other dogs in his foster home and gets along great with all of them.  Rob  loves to play with  toys ,  chew on  bones and can easily entertain himself for a while with them.    He is   doing great with potty train ing   if   he is allowed  frequent outings .  He is doing  amazing with  crate training  and sleeps quietly through the night. Rob would love to have a n active  playmate in his new home .  Fenced yard required. Adoption fee $800.  Visit ruffredemption.org to complete an application. All Ruff Redemption Dogs are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive a minimum of two distemper/parvo vaccines, medication for the treatment and prevention of intestinal worms, and monthly heart worm/flea prevention while in our care.
