Levi is the one for you! This cute little senior is ready to find his forever family. Here’s a little about him:  Personality: Levi is friendly but cautious - he likes to take his time to warm up to new people, but once he does, you've got a friend for life. Don't let his age fool you, this little guy is still raring to go!  Training & Behavior: May need a refresher on housetraining.  Health & Wellness: Up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and neutered.  Perfect Home: Levi is looking for a foster to adopt home. We would like to make sure he is comfortable in his new digs before he (and YOU) commit to permanent adoption (2 week trial). Story
Don’t let the size fool you—Lucy might only be 5 lbs, but she’s got the spirit of a Border Collie who just drank a Red Bull and read The Art of Herding. This 11-week-old mystery pup is (probably?) a Pomeranian mix, but we’re honestly just guessing. Her family tree is more of a tangled shrub with a whole lot of adorable in it.Lucy came from a home with 26 dogs and was rescued from some seriously ick conditions, but she’s thriving in foster care and ready to run your household like a tiny, fluffy supervisor. She’s the kind of pup who sees a group of people standing around and immediately starts organizing them into a tidy circle.Compared to her goofball sister Skye, Lucy is the brains of the operation—clever, observant, and always one paw ahead. She’s been exposed to other puppies, adult dogs, cats, and kids As a small, mischievous puppy, Lucy will need either a securely fenced yard or to be supervised closely while outside—she’s got places to go, sticks to chase, and zero understanding of “boundaries” (physical or otherwise). She’s still working on crate and house training, and she’ll need regular grooming to keep her looking fabulous. She’s full of energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of sass.If you’re looking for a tiny boss to lovingly micromanage your life, Lucy is accepting applications. Bonus points if you’ve got snacks and a strong work ethic. If you’d like to take Lucy home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $400 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!

Story
Bryce is a 1.5 year old sweet, fluffy black-and-white Pomeranian mix with striking markings and a heart as big as his luxurious coat. He was rescued along with 25 other dogs from a severely neglected home, but despite his rough start, Bryce is eager to learn what love and stability really feel like. This 18-pound boy may look bigger due to his thick double coat, but underneath it all is a young pup with a gentle soul and playful spirit. He’s house-trained and walks nicely on a leash. He’s also smart and curious—currently learning basic commands and making great progress with positive reinforcement and patience.Bryce loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion. He enjoys playing chase, sharing toys without a fuss, and lounging with his pack.He adores:Chest and ear rubs in a cozy lapCar ridesShallow streams, stuffies, and bones to chewBeing part of the action with his peopleHe’s still working on a few things—like overcoming his unfamiliarity of crates and being tightly restrained (for vet visits). Quick movements toward his head make him flinch, but he’s never shown aggression; because of that older children may be a better fit. With time and trust, we believe he’ll continue to blossom.Bryce needs an adopter who can offer patience, consistency, and lots of love. He’s not a fit for someone who needs a crate-trained dog right away but has the potential with some work.If you’re ready to help a resilient little dog grow into the amazing companion he’s meant to be, Bryce may be your perfect match. If you’d like to take Bryce home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $350 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. Hi! My name is Preppie. I am a really adorable girl, and I am just looking for my furever home! My littermates and I were dropped off at a shelter as strays in SC, and no one ever came looking for us :( I am 8 weeks old (born around March3, 2025), weigh about 3 pounds, and I love dogs, cats and kids. I am doing so well with all of them in my foster home in South Carolina! I am neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for my age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. I am all ready to be adopted :) My adoption fee is $550, and covers all of my vetting, and includes transport within the next two weeks, if my new family lives in the northeast USA. ***PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO ADOPT WITHIN THE NEXT TWO WEEKS**** Please visit https://www.apply.daybeforetherainbow.com/ to fill out an adoption application form or email my rescue at taryn@daybeforetherainbow.com!
