He is a little timid at first, but warms up quickly to new people. Stay tuned for more info, but keep in mind, Ruffles is a puppy and will need lots of attention, training and socialization. Looking for a little dog who really wants to be your dog? Uli may be your guy. Uli is a 12-pound Pomeranian/Poodle mix with a sweet side, a silly side, and plenty of personality. He's 5 years old, so he's nicely past the puppy chaos but still loves to play—especially a good game of fetch. Once playtime is over, Uli is all about getting cozy. He loves burrowing under blankets, curling up on the couch, and snuggling with his person. Basically, if there's a warm lap available, he'll find it. Uli has been settling beautifully into his foster home and has been friendly with visitors. He's happiest in a quieter environment, and young children make him a little nervous, so an adult only home would be a great fit. He's also decided that when it comes to his people, he'd really rather not share. Uli would love to be your one-and-only dog and soak up all that attention himself. Someone who's home a good part of the day—a retiree, work-from-homer, or anyone looking for a devoted little companion—could be just what Uli is hoping for. He's really a pretty simple guy: throw his ball, share your blanket, give him your lap, and tell him he's your favorite.
