Story
Ashley & Toby are a dynamic duo looking for love together in a forever home. These two are pups are guaranteed to keep your lap warm this fall! These two sweet peas act like an old married couple! Ashley is always ready to sit on someone's lap and get tummy rubs! She's INSANELY fluffy and loves attention and all humans! She loves her treats (as you can probably tell by her chonkey frame) and she's always ready to run up to you with the funniest most loving smile! Toby is a little bit more cautious around new people, but if there's one thing, he knows it's that he loves his wife, Ashley ! Toby loves to sit on everyone's lap and get gentle pets! Toby is 15 pounds of pure snuggly Chihuahua! Both Toby and Ashley are housetrained, crate, trained, and they get along well with smaller dogs and gentle bigger dogs. Toby and Ashley are such easy-going, loving house, pets, who just can't wait to find their forever home! *Please note that the first step is to fill out an application (It does not commit you in anyway but allows us to discuss with you if you and the dog are a good fit). In addition, an important step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies ) , spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Both are spayed/ neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for each of these dogs is $250 ($500 for the bonded pair) which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system. Story
❗Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Sunny with a story of miracles👋 Sunny was found on a street in South Korea at one year old in 2018 and taken to a high-risk shelter, but she was already in serious condition presumably caused by a car accident. Her pelvis was fractured, and her right hind leg bone was broken into pieces. She was saved from euthanasia by the rescue team and hospitalized for months (Jun-Sep 2018) due to the surgery and recovery. She was miraculously given a new life thanks to the rescue. That same year, after a few months of foster period, Sunny found a forever home, which was another miracle we thought of back then. Five years later, however, the rescue team got an unknown phone call requesting to change Sunny's ownership. Long story short, her family decided to give up on her after years, sent her to a pet shop, and paid them, all this without discussing it with the rescue team. This pet shop basically receives pets from owners and in turn, sells them out, and to do so with Sunny, they needed to have Sunny's ownership switched from the rescue team to the pet shop so they contacted the rescue team, and that’s how the rescue team learned Sunny's situation. Eventually, Sunny was able to safely return to her original rescue team, which is another miracle in her story. Despite all these setbacks, Sunny's sweet nature and zest for life shine bright. She needs one true chance to find her real forever family that loves her unconditionally. Recently, she has been moved to her foster home with two other dogs. Sunny is eagerly waiting for her own home now! • Personality: Sweet, Playful, Sociable Sunny thrives on love and affection and gets along with all people and furry friends, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a lovely and affectionate fur buddy. She is such a cuddle bug! She likes snuggly cushions and blankets. • Affinity with - Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs regardless of the size - Cats: Okay with street cats. She sometimes tries to chase kittens, but she stops when told. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults, especially elders including men / Okay with kids - not much interest in them. 💫She will be a perfect fit for most types of families! • Housetrained: fully housebroken, okay with both pee-pads and outdoors. • Walking Manners: very good • Separation Anxiety: None • Bathing/Brushing: very good • Barks/Howls: she barks when excited or when she wants something. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Car Rides: very good • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies • Health Issues: Due to the serious injuries that she got from an accident right before rescue, her pelvis is not perfectly placed (incomplete union of iliac) even after she had surgery immediately after being rescued. However, currently, she doesn’t show signs of pain when walking or running. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Sunny, please don't hesitate to apply!

Story
IMPORTANT: We are looking for a very specific adopter for Alfie as this poor little girl is very scared and it is likely she had little human contact before she came to HART. She is with one of our trainers and making progress in learning to trust. She is very playful and bonded to 2 of the trainers dogs and loves to run and play with them and be near them. However, it is still hard to pick her up and she is a flight risk. Alfie has so much potential and has made very good progress in a short period of time but still has a way to go. To be considered as a possible adopter for Alfie, you will need to have dog experience as an adult (bonus if you have worked with scared dogs before), already have a playful, outgoing dog that can show Alfie the ropes, have no kids in your home, and live in a quiet, calm home with a highly secure fenced yard. Please only apply if you have the experience, commitment, and living situation that Alfie needs to thrive in your home. We want what is best for Alfie and for you. Thank you for understanding. Thank you for your interest in Alfie! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=17158 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Alfie, or to submit an online application. HART adopts to the local DC/VA/MD metro area only. Visit our website for more information about our adoption process.

My name is Swirlynn! I'm a mixed breed pup with a sweet personality, ready to give you all my love and loyalty. At 11.9 lbs., I'm the perfect size don't you think? I just arrived on 12/6 so my foster family is still getting to know me but I'm currently doing great with the 2 resident dogs in the home and while I think the 3 small kids (ages 5, 3, and 1) in the home are a little scary I'm very patient with them. My foster Mommy says I'm still working on house breaking and crate training too but we're going slow because everything is brand new to me! I’m looking for my forever family! Is that with you? If so please hit the apply button and let’s get our family started.
