Age: 8 months Weight: 17 lbs Dog friendly: yes, with the right introductions Cat friendly: yes Kid friendly: yes, older and considerate children Potty trained: yes, on a schedule Crate trained: yes REQUIRED: Physical fenced yard & another playful dog within the home Hello, hello! Hi there, my name is Moonie! I’m a 17lb bundle of joy and ready to go to my forever home! I love to play with my 17 lb foster sister, whether its a good game of chase, bitey face, or wrestling - i love it all and do good switching between roles. Im chill with my 85lb foster brother, he’s a bit older and wants nothing to do with puppy shenanigans so I leave him alone.  My foster parents say I'm a certified goober, I love getting pets from them and while I took to my foster mom immediately it took a while longer to warm up to my foster dad. I play with my foster parents some but aren’t as confident yet with people. I like going outside and am loving winter so far -  I LOVE  to bring snow balls back inside and eat them! I also love to chew on bones/hooves/toys.  My crate is my safe space and I do great sleeping in there overnight and hanging out there during the day when these peeps are at work. I’m working on potty training but do well with potty pads inside. I’m a sweetheart with a cute smile and I’m ready to sweep you off your feet! Adoption fee: $525

Yes I shed seasonally-I have some Husky in me:) About Tindra: Meet Tindra — a name that means “sparkle” in Swedish, and one that fits her perfectly. ✨ Tindra is a sweet Pomsky girl who came to rescue from a hoarding situation and is experiencing the outside world for the very first time. She’s discovering the joy of normal dog activities and approaches them with gentle excitement and curiosity. Tindra has a medium energy level and enjoys going for walks, then happily curling up for a nap beside you or squeezing into the tiniest cozy space she can find. She gets along wonderfully with her dog and cat foster siblings and would love a home with playmates — whether human or animal. Tindra especially loves to wrestle, and at about 30 pounds fully grown, she’s a fun but manageable play partner. She doesn’t shed much, though she will need occasional brushing and trimming to manage her undercoat. Tindra may be shy with new people at first and might hide, but once she feels safe she becomes very affectionate and “Velcro-like.” She’s currently working on potty training and does well with pee pads. Praise-based training works best for her, as she’s not especially food motivated. With patience and love, Tindra will truly shine. Tindra is fixed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations appropriate for her age. Adoption Fee: $600 + applicable tax Training Requirement: Obedience Level 1/Basic Manners Recommended MEET ME/ADOPT ME: If you’d like to arrange a meeting or begin the adoption process, please fill out an adoption application by visiting https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adopt/ or clicking “adopt me!”. Story
Location: Sartell, MN Hi! My name is Golden Finch, my foster family calls me Finny. I live with kids, dogs and a cat. I love everyone! I REALLY love my foster brother Cass. He is a husky mix that loves to play. Most days I just follow him or mom around the house. I am shy girl therefore in my forever home it would be best for me to have a confident dog friend to show me the ropes. I have learned so much from the other dogs in the house. Having them around makes new things a little less scary. I have also met Adam the cat. I try to play with him, he typically runs away. My mom says he is just not “dog savy”. I think that means he doesn’t like dogs much. I also LOVE to snuggle. My kids are always “squish kissing”😚 me. I have been working really hard at potty training. I am looking for a patient family willing to continue working with me . It is tough in the winter, I do NOT like the cold weather at all so when my mom tells me I have to go potty outside sometimes I disagree. It is a work in progress. I am sweet as ever, I just need a little time to warm up to new things. That is all about me, Finny. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Hi, I’m Milo, a fluffy little Pom mix with a big heart packed into my 15 pounds. I’m a gentle guy who loves attention, kisses, and being part of the action. I get along great with dogs, cats, and kids, and I’m always ready to make new friends.  I do especially well with the littles and am very patient with them.   I’m not a big barker, but if another dog starts up, I’ll happily join the chorus. I’m kennel trained, keep my space clean, and I’m working hard on my potty training—it’s coming along nicely when I’m on a good schedule. I am still learning about the leash, so until I figure that out I will need a fenced in yard where I can explore safely and do my business.   My favorite toys are squeaky ones, but don’t worry—I don’t destroy them, I just enjoy the sound. I’m affectionate, even-tempered, and gentle, and I love being talked to. I’m smart enough to know commands like “Kennel,” “Go Potty,” and even “Get Back” when the door is open. I’m the kind of dog who wants to be with people, whether we’re playing, walking, or just hanging out. I’ll do fine on my own if you’re busy, but I’ll be happiest in a home where I get plenty of love and attention. If you’re looking for a sweet, fluffy companion who will make you smile every day, I’m your guy. Love, Milo Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.    ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
