Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Benjamin button is the perfect little sidekick with just the right mix of independence and affection.  Benjamin button is a Pomeranian mix who has already mastered so many of the important things in life—he’s housebroken, walks beautifully on a leash, and has great manners in the home. He’s a smart boy who understands a variety of commands like “come,” “stay,” “outside,” “go potty,” “leave it,” and even “get back” when the door opens. He’s eager to please (especially if treats are involved!) and is very food motivated, which makes continued training a breeze. Benjamin button is wonderfully well-rounded when it comes to his social life. He gets along great with other dogs, prefers friends his own size, and has done well with cats too. He’s also been around babies and toddlers and handles it all like a champ. While he enjoys the company of other dogs and is learning to join in on zoomies and playtime, he doesn’t require a canine companion—as long as his people are home most of the time, he’ll be perfectly content soaking up their attention. This little guy has a sweet and slightly independent personality. He loves his humans and will happily spend time with you, but he’s not overly needy—he’s the kind of dog who can entertain himself and then come in for love when he’s ready. He absolutely adores squeaky toys and will proudly toss them around, giving them a good shake during playtime. At night, he does well not being in a crate and instead is kept in a separate room and settles in nicely. He can be a bit vocal at first when kenneled, but he does calm down after a short time. He’s also great about letting you know when he needs to go outside, making him an easy and reliable companion in the home. Benjamin button is truly a good boy in all the best ways—smart, adaptable, loving, and just the right amount of fun. He’s the kind of dog who will fit right into your life, bringing loyalty, personality, and just enough playful charm to make every day a little brighter Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Oriole is a darling Pomeranian with a soft, beautiful coat and an even softer heart. He is incredibly devoted to his people and loves being close — whether he’s curled up right next to you, tucked into your side, or happily soaking up pets and belly rubs. He also enjoys being picked up and cuddled, making him the perfect little companion for someone who loves a snuggly dog. He does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys both gentle play and meeting new canine friends. Oriole thrives in a home where he can be part of the pack, though he will chase cats and would do best in a cat-free home. He can be sensitive to loud noises, quick movements, and overwhelming environments, so a quieter home without young children will help him feel safe and secure. Oriole loves spending time outside and really enjoys having a fenced yard where he can run, explore, and show off his adorable morning zoomies. He also enjoys going on walks and is leash trained, though he should always be kept secure since he can slip out of a collar or harness if given the opportunity. He does great with stairs but isn’t one to jump on furniture, preferring instead to stay close by your side. He is crate trained and continues to do well with structure and routine. Oriole is very food motivated, which makes him fun to work with, but he will need a soft diet and soft treats as he only has one tooth remaining. He does not play with toys just yet, but he’s curious and continues to grow more comfortable exploring the world around him. Thunderstorms and loud commotion can be scary for him, so he’ll do best with a patient, understanding adopter who can provide reassurance and a calm environment. Oriole is truly one of the sweetest little dogs you’ll meet — affectionate, gentle, and happiest right by your side. He’s ready to find a loving home where he can feel safe, adored, and part of the family. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Introducing PomPoms — The Fluffy Prince of Sass and Sunshine! Looking for a dog with the confidence of a lion, the fluff of a cloud, and the charm of a seasoned heart-stealer? Meet PomPoms, a pint-sized Pomeranian with a personality that is anything but small. PomPoms is the total Pomeranian package: he’s bold, opinionated, and totally devoted once he’s decided you’re his person. He loves to go on adventures — whether that means hopping in the car for a joyride or trotting around the neighborhood like he owns it (spoiler alert: he thinks he does). He thrives on attention, makes friends easily with both humans and other dogs, and has a surprising amount of pep packed into his tiny frame. He’s also a top-tier napper and can often be found sunbathing like a celebrity on vacation. But don’t let that cute little face fool you — PomPoms knows what he wants and he’s not afraid to express himself. He has very clear opinions about a few things in life: The Vet — hard no. If PomPoms has to go, he’ll need his foster mom there to hold his paw (and maybe whisper sweet nothings or offer cheese). He gets anxious and needs reassurance from someone he trusts. Clothes — double no. He is perfect in his natural state, thank you very much. Being Heard — absolutely. If something doesn’t meet PomPoms’ high standards, he’ll let you know with a side-eye or a solid bark of disapproval. PomPoms is not just a dog — he’s a presence. He’s the type of pup who forms a deep bond with his person, makes you laugh daily with his dramatic antics, and somehow turns the most mundane part of your day into something warm, funny, and sweet. He’d do well in a home that understands little dogs with big personalities — a family who’ll let him be the fabulous little weirdo he is, while also helping him feel safe when the world feels scary (like, say… during vet visits). He’s housetrained, loves companionship, and does best with people who respect his boundaries while still giving him structure and snuggles. In return, PomPoms promises to be your tiny shadow, your co-pilot on errands, your sunbathing buddy, and the ruler of your heart (and probably your couch). *SPECIAL NEEDS: Kensi is deaf and vision impaired, please read entire bio before applying to ensure Kensi is a good match for your home**   Kensi is a fluffy little Pomsky mystery who operates very much like a majestic woodland creature—sweet, curious, and happiest when she has her kingdom (aka your home) all to herself. She may be mostly blind and deaf, but don’t let that fool you. This girl navigates life with the confidence of someone who absolutely knows where the treat jar is at all times. Kensi is a one‑dog show, and she prefers it that way. Other dogs? Hard pass. Cats? Also no. Farm animals? Surprisingly fine. Humans? Yes, please. She greets new people with friendly enthusiasm and will happily accept snacks, pets, and compliments about her fabulous coat. She enjoys wandering her yard like a tiny, fuzzy explorer, sniffing out the secrets of the universe (or at least the squirrels). She’s played with toys, enjoys treats, and trots along nicely on a leash. She’s potty trained, rides well in the car, and has just the right amount of sass to keep life interesting. Kensi is looking for a calm home where she can be the star of the show, the queen of the castle, the solo act in her own personal sitcom. She’s sweet, she’s quirky, she’s independent, and she’s ready to be someone’s loyal little sidekick—no other dogs required, thank you very much. If you’re looking for a unique, lovable companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Kensi is your girl. Many of our dogs are obtained from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends.  In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Story
Coffee is a little bundle of sweetness who will melt your heart every time you look at her. With her gentle personality and easygoing nature, she’s the kind of companion who quietly brings comfort and joy just by being nearby. She absolutely loves her breakfast and dinner—especially when soft food is on the menu! Coffee recently had a dental cleaning with some teeth removed, and she’s been doing great since, taking it all in stride like the resilient girl she is. Coffee is wonderfully social and not fazed by other dogs at all. She happily toddles around with a quiet confidence, as if to say, “I’m here—go ahead and love me!” She enjoys being held and soaking up affection, but she’s just as content doing her own thing, whether that’s exploring at her own pace or curling up for a cozy nap. She is kennel trained (with a little help getting settled in) and relaxes nicely once inside. Coffee would do well in many homes, but she would be especially perfect for a senior or someone with a calm, peaceful lifestyle. That said, her adaptable and loving nature means she’ll be a wonderful companion for just about anyone lucky enough to welcome her home. All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. To meet this sweet pup, fill out an application today! https://www.carverscotths.org/dogs

Story
Hi! I’m Lorella, a 3.5-year-old Pomeranian. I’m ready to enjoy the good life! 🎉 First things first: I came with my best friend, Lorita. We are two peas in a pod and would LOVE to be adopted together, but we understand if you can't. We do everything together. Think "doublemint twins". We even eat out of the same bowl, even if there are two. I just met snow for the first time today. It is amazing. Snow is delicious. Snow is for rolling in and face-planting into. If there is snow outside, you will likely find me out there doing snow angels or taste-testing the freshest powder. ❄️ There is video evidence apparently. I’m a happy, friendly little puffball. I might be a tiny bit shy at first, but I get my confidence from Lorita. I'm much more confident when she is by my side. If you’re ready for some Pomeranian shenanigans, Lorita and I might be your girls. Just make sure you like snow… because I’m probably not coming inside until I’ve rolled in it at least seven more times. 😄
