Meet Pepper 🐾 Pepper is a 3-year-old Pomeranian mix who came to us from a hoarding situation and had very minimal human interaction before entering rescue. Because of this, much of the world is completely new and overwhelming to her. She has never worn a collar or harness. She has never been on a leash. Because of this, Pepper is considered a flight risk and will need a home that understands the importance of safety, secure handling, and a very cautious approach as she learns to feel safe. Pepper is shy, fearful, and unsure, but she deserves a calm, compassionate foster or adopter who can give her the space, consistency, and understanding she needs to feel safe. A quiet home with realistic expectations will be essential for her success. Pepper has shown that she can do well with cats and is good with other dogs when given proper, slow introductions. She also loves stuffed toys, which bring her comfort and help her feel a little more secure as she settles in. If you have experience with fearful dogs or hoarding cases—or simply a big heart and patience—Pepper could truly benefit from you. Even a foster home can make a life-changing difference for her.

He is a true worker who thrives with clear boundaries, consistency, and a job to do. Engaging his mind and giving him guidance helps him be his best self. Because of his intelligence and bold personality, Jett is looking for an experienced owner who will continue his training, maintain structure, and enjoy working with a clever, spirited dog.
