Meet Pepper 🐾 Pepper is a 3-year-old Pomeranian mix who came to us from a hoarding situation and had very minimal human interaction before entering rescue. Because of this, much of the world is completely new and overwhelming to her. She has never worn a collar or harness. She has never been on a leash. Because of this, Pepper is considered a flight risk and will need a home that understands the importance of safety, secure handling, and a very cautious approach as she learns to feel safe. Pepper is shy, fearful, and unsure, but she deserves a calm, compassionate foster or adopter who can give her the space, consistency, and understanding she needs to feel safe. A quiet home with realistic expectations will be essential for her success. Pepper has shown that she can do well with cats and is good with other dogs when given proper, slow introductions. She also loves stuffed toys, which bring her comfort and help her feel a little more secure as she settles in. If you have experience with fearful dogs or hoarding cases—or simply a big heart and patience—Pepper could truly benefit from you. Even a foster home can make a life-changing difference for her.

Introducing our newest sweet senior, Cali! This 10 year old Pomsky has been a frequent flyer at a local shelter, kept outside and running loose on a regular basis. This last time her owners didn’t come back for her so she finally has the chance for a better life and responsible loving home. She’s a sweetheart, blind but navigates well, loves being brushed and belly rubs, and is fine with other smallish gentle dogs (she’s about 17lbs full grown and looks like an oversized Pomeranian). She’s been spayed, had a dental, and had a small benign mammary mass removed and has recovered nicely, and is ready for a home that appreciates her loyalty and lovely disposition. Meet Harriet! The cutest happiest tiny toothless treasure, this little puffball of a Pomeranian is sure to bring a smile to everyone lucky enough to be in her presence 😃. We don’t know why she was abandoned, but she definitely didn’t deserve it and she deserves someone who will appreciate her in her golden years. She’s chunky at 9lbs, probably at least 10 years old, has been spayed, updated on shots and had hernias repaired and needed all her rotted painful teeth pulled. She has mild heart disease but no medication needed at this time and otherwise is in good health and will hopefully have many years to enjoy in her new home. She’s good with other small gentle dogs, loves food and dances and begs for people food and treats, and loves to sleep right next to you in bed. Meet Noah Noah is a happy little Pomeranian Mix. He is about 1 year old, neutered, current on vaccines and weighs about 14 lbs. He gets along with all dogs, big or small. He is extremely friendly and great with kids. Noah is very affectionate and always looking to please Due to his past, he is not house trained, but he is working on it. Noah does not walk on a leash (yet) so a fenced in yard to run around in will be required. He will need patience, consistency, and a proactive routine to be successful. Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped and dental scaling complete. * Due to consistent treatment, Ruki has completely recovered from his skin condition and the darkened skin has become pink again. 2.) Rescue Story * Ruki (a puppy of Miso) was rescued from a hoarder’s home in Gimje, and had been transferred to the Gimje City Shelter. Ruki already had a skin condition and wasn’t able to get proper treatment at the shelter, so Adogs rescued him before it became worse. 3.) Basic Information ❗️As a young puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking. ❗️It is difficult to predict his shedding and growth size because his parents are unknown. * With People: Is shy with new people and isn’t comfortable with human touch yet so he must be cornered before he can be petted. However, he accepts it nicely once you actually touch him although he still needs more time to become comfortable with it since he’s timid. Lives and moves around comfortably around familiar people. Has overcome his fear of hands and he will he sniffs hands if they come near his nose. * With Dogs: Got along with no issues with other dogs when he lived at the Adogs Center. Hasn’t met new friends yet after moving to his foster home. * With Cats: Hasn’t met cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Stays alone well. * Potty Training: Was previously excellent with pottying indoors using potty pads, but after a visit to the vet, has started having accidents on cushions when scared, whining to have it cleaned up. Is being slowly retrained. * Grooming: Does well with baths. * Walks: Hasn’t had experience with walks yet. * Car Sickness: Has a little bit of car sickness so care is needed. * Biting: Is a kind dog that’s never bitten. * Barking: Whines if he’s forcibly held. If he has a potty accident, he whines as if asking to have it cleaned up. * Likes: Likes treats but the vet suggested to cut back on them, so he’s only being fed a few treats. * Dislikes: Is scared of loud noises and becomes afraid if you move your hands downwards suddenly. Whines and expresses discomfort if you try to hold him. May have potty accidents if you set him down on the floor in areas with many people or at the vet, but if you hold him with his bottom well supported, he feels safer. * Tricks: Has started crate training, but there hasn’t been much progress yet.
