**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Anna! Anna is an adorable 2-year-old Pomeranian mix weighing about 13 pounds. This sweet girl has never met a stranger—she absolutely loves people and is always ready to soak up attention and affection. Whether she's cuddling on the couch or following you around the house, Anna's happy place is wherever her humans are. Anna is a big fan of squeaky toys and can happily entertain herself with her favorite toy before coming back for more pets and praise. She also loves snacks and will gladly accept treats for being the good girl she is! She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having doggy friends. Anna walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained, and is mostly housetrained. With a consistent routine, she should continue to thrive in her new home. If you're looking for a friendly, affectionate companion with a fun-loving personality, Anna may be the perfect addition to your family. She's ready to bring lots of love, tail wags, and squeaky-toy adventures to her forever home! Interested in becoming a forever home for Anna? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $750. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ/OR, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Meet Chewbacca "Chewy"! Chewbacca, better known as Chewy, is a 1-year-old Pomeranian/Shih Tzu mix (or at least that's our best guess!) who packs an incredible amount of cuteness into a tiny 9-pound body. This handsome little guy looks like he was brushed together from every shade of brown imaginable. His fluffy coat is absolutely gorgeous, with rich chocolate, caramel, and golden tones woven throughout, giving him a one-of-a-kind look. Add in his adorable scruffy face, soulful eyes, tiny size, and teddy bear appearance, and it's nearly impossible not to fall in love. Chewy is what we like to call the King of the Couch. Every king needs a throne, and for Chewy, that throne is a soft couch cushion. His favorite thing in the world is finding the coziest spot in the house, curling up into a little ball, and settling in for a nap. Whether it's a fluffy pillow, a cozy blanket, or your lap, if it's comfortable, Chewy approves. Watch Chewy in action here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VEZQzRCfcZ4 And while he may start out a little shy, once he decides you're part of his inner circle, he becomes a total love bug. His foster says one of her favorite things about him is how much he enjoys cuddling. He loves sitting in laps, soaking up affection, and simply being close to the people he trusts. Chewy is currently thriving in a foster home with lots of other dogs of different sizes and personalities. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has excellent manners, but he's more of a "let's peacefully coexist" type than a "let's wrestle for three hours" type. He especially appreciates dog friends who respect personal space and don't feel the need to bounce directly into his face every five seconds. Think of him as the wise little gentleman at the party quietly enjoying the snacks while the younger crowd runs around causing chaos. He also did very well meeting a cat. In fact, he was so unbothered by the cat that they were able to share the couch together. Even when the cat's tail smacked him in the face, Chewy basically shrugged and went right back to minding his own business. While we'd still recommend proper introductions and further testing in a home, he showed all the calm, respectful behaviors we love to see. Chewy can be a little timid in new environments and may need a few days to decompress and settle in. New places and new people can be overwhelming at first, and his favorite coping strategy is usually finding a cozy couch and waiting for life to slow down a bit. Once he realizes he's safe, his sweet personality starts to shine through. At just 9 pounds, Chewy is perfectly portable and easy to bring along on life's adventures. Whether that's joining you on a road trip, cuddling during movie night, or supervising your work-from-home schedule from a nearby pillow, he's happy just being near his people. His ideal home would be one that understands that not every dog immediately becomes the life of the party. Chewy prefers a gentle approach to life, a comfortable couch, loving people, and a calm environment where he can build confidence at his own pace. If you're looking for a tiny best friend with teddy bear looks, excellent couch manners, and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared, Chewbacca "Chewy" might be your perfect match. Story
Otto is a 3-year-old Pomeranian we have had since puppyhood. He is very affectionate, loves cuddling, and bonds deeply with his people in calm, predictable environments.Over the past 2 years, Otto has struggled with significant anxiety and reactivity despite professional training, behavioral medication, and extensive management. He has a bite history involving both adults and children in the home, initially around food/resource guarding and more recently in situations involving resting, handling, startle responses, and overstimulation. Most bites have caused bruising or marks rather than severe injury, but his triggers have become less predictable over time.Otto needs an adult-only home with experienced owners who understand anxious/reactive dogs and can provide a calm, structured, low-stimulation environment where he can feel safe and secure. Thank you for your consideration!

Story
I inherited sweet Milo when my parents passed. I can no longer provide a home for him as I must move and can't take him with me. He's a great traveler and companion. Note that he does have medical issues (heart murmur, collapsing trachea), but with medication, they are easily managed.
