Story
Meet Eliza, a stunning 3-year-old beauty who’s ready to trade her past for a future full of love. Eliza came to us from a puppy mill, and while she’s missed out on normal family life, her affectionate nature shines through immediately. She truly loves everyone she meets and happily seeks out attention, pets, and gentle affection whenever it’s offered.Because Eliza hasn’t yet experienced life in a home, she will need help learning basic skills like house training and walking politely on a leash. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she’s sure to pick these things up and enjoy the structure and comfort of being part of a family.Eliza would thrive in a home that’s excited to show her what it means to be a cherished companion - snuggling on the couch, going for walks, and being included in everyday moments. Her sweet personality and eagerness for affection make her a wonderful candidate for a family willing to guide her as she learns. Eliza is ready to bloom into the loving family dog she was always meant to be.

Story
DOB 11-25-2022 Gina spent her short life in a breeding facility until just a few months ago. She gave birth to 3 little puppies but had no milk. We were given the option to purchase her and her puppies so of course we did. Gina is a sweet 8 pound girl, she is a little shy but gets along great with others, she loves to run in the yard, play and is now a pretty social girl. She has been spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and received a ProHeart6 protection injection. Gina's adoption fee is 850.00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC, they run every other week to their stops on the East Coast. They are the best transport and the only one we will use. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Ronnie is a 2-year-old, black and white Pomeranian that is absolutely gorgeous and he knows it. He has a tendency to be a little hyper around other dogs, as he LOVES to play with them, and we were told he would not leave the cats alone at the home where he used to live which was why he was given away. He was living outside in a pen 24/7 when his rescuer asked if she could have him. She promptly brought him to us to find a superb home for him. Ronnie settles once he gets your undivided attention when outside or when he is inside, in an x-pen so he doesn’t bowl over the elderly dogs that live at his foster home. When he is outside he has the company of both a 40 pound and a 55 pound dog to play with. He is scheduled to be groomed on 12/29 and will be scheduled for a neuter after that. Ronnie weighed 14.4 pounds on 12/18/25. He is up to date on vaccinations including Bordetella and is heartworm negative. He walks on a leash with only a little pulling and does well riding in a car when crated. Ronnie is being fostered in Arkansas. Ronnie’s adoption donation is $865 which includes the $165 transport cost. If you would like to adopt this beautiful boy, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lewistown, PA Buddy is a 4 year old handsome Pomeranian that lived his entire life in a goat pen and was utilized as a stud on a breeders farm.  We were thrilled when they decided to give him up.  He is a little timid but very friendly once he is comfortable with you.  There were no children on the farm so we are unsure what he would be like with kids.  We are just getting to learn about him but believe he will be a great companion.  He will need some basic training but is super smart and will do well with some consistency and patience. Pomeranians need regular grooming and upkeep of their gorgeous coats.  Our adopter will need to understand this important commitment.  Are you the right home for this sweet stunning boy who deserves to experience a family of his own where he can be the baby?  Thank you for considering adoption through ODAAT. Our dedication to our animals goes beyond finding them a home; we aim to match them with families where they will thrive and receive the love and care that they so desperately deserve.  We believe in finding not just homes, but forever families for our beloved animals. Our thorough adoption process is designed to ensure that each furry friend finds the perfect match based on their unique needs and personalities. Please know that we do not rush this process, as we prioritize compatibility over speed. Your patience and understanding as we work towards finding the ideal match for both our rescues and your family means the world to us. Our applications can be found at www.onedogatatime.us.
