Roman is a fun-loving, sweet and lovable ball of fluff. He has 4 brothers, but currently just lives with Remus. They enjoy playing together and stirring up trouble. Roman will need to be potty trained and leash trained. He is fine with other dogs or as just your one and only. Maybe you want two? They could keep each other entertained. Adorable and cuddly too!Roman's adoption fee is $500. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed.   Sweet, Gentle, & Emotional   My name is Harrison, and I’m a 7-month-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix hoping to find the forever family who can give me the life my heart is ready for. I’m a petite 14 pounds now and will probably end up around 16 pounds as an adult—just the right size to hold close.   I was adopted as a tiny puppy by an elderly woman and her adult daughter who loved me with their whole hearts. But life has changed in ways none of us expected, and they can no longer keep up with my needs. They’ve cared for me the best they could, but walks, training, and outdoor potty routines became too difficult. I’ve been using pee pads inside simply because they had no other option.   They made the brave, loving decision to ask Critter Cavalry Rescue for help, and now I’m hoping for a home with people who are active, gentle, and ready to help me learn. I’m still young and eager—ready for walks, playtime, backyard exploring, and adventures. Ginger is an amazing dog and would make the perfect lone-pet...meaning, NO OTHER PETS! For the most part, she gets along with our other dog and xxxx@xxxx.x we had first. On occasion, however, she'll go after the other dog (German Shephard), and last night went after the cat. Which sadly, lands us here. So again, Ginger would make an absolute awesome lone-pet addition to a loving, caring home! NO OTHER PETS!! Ginger is a Designer Breed. She's half Pomeranian and half Shiba Inu. She's beautiful. She was a very expensive dog. She's 6 years old and weighs roughly 14 pounds. She is house-trained, immunizations are up-to-date, loves long walks, loves to nap, loves people...she's a lap-dog for sure! Ginger is crate trained, and spends time in her crate when we are going to be out of the house more than a couple hours, and sleeps in her crate at night. She does perfectly fine out of the crate, and the crate would not be necessary if she were a lone-pet, but that's completely up to you.

Meet Brady! Brady arrived with the kind of heartbreak you can feel as soon as you meet a pup. Thirteen and a half years old, a tiny Pomeranian with a big history, suddenly uprooted after his mom’s dementia made it impossible for her to keep caring for him. He’s confused, scared, and trying his best to be brave while his whole world has changed overnight. He met the other dogs politely, kept his distance, and walked gently on leash, but you can see him scanning every corner for something familiar. He doesn’t love being picked up, and who can blame him?! His hips ache with arthritis, his heart murmurs along, and he’s back on the urinary diet that keeps those bladder stones at bay. What he needs now is simply a soft place to land and someone patient enough to let him exhale. Brady has lived well with another dog before, understands yard-to-leash life, and will happily shout about whatever he thinks needs announcing (including the outrageous act of you sitting at the table to eat without him). He’s been shaved down because brushing isn’t his thing, and he’s a little unsure of crates. But deep down, he’s just a senior boy who lost his person and is trying to understand what comes next. Brady will need someone calm, gentle, and willing to help him feel safe again. Could it be you? Brady is approximately 13 years old and 9 lbs. More details to follow as we get to know him better. Meet Oso! This sweet, bewildered floof was surrendered to the shelter because his owner “had no time” for him. Eleven years old. Completely blind. And possibly unable to hear. Imagine losing the world you know and the people you love ~ then being left in a loud, bright, unfamiliar place you can’t see. We quickly got him into a loving foster home where he was able to decompress . Once he did, we discovered that he is the sweetest, snuggliest, most loving little bear. Oso's top three list: 1) belly rubs, 2) belly rubs, and 3) more belly rubs! This little man loves to snuggle up and cuddle with his people, and when they're not available he'll find the nearest soft bed and sleep the soundest sleep you've ever seen. Despite being blind and hard of hearing, Oso navigates life with confidence and adapts beautifully to his surroundings. He loves being outside (see the photo of him soaking in a beautiful sunset while facing the wrong way) and is great on a leash and in the car. Oso gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children, is totally housetrained, and sleeps soundly through the night. He’s comfortable being home alone when needed, as long as he's in a smaller, contained area so he can't accidentally hurt himself. And as long as it has lots of comfy beds, of course. Oso has a mild (1/6) heart murmur but his radiographs look great and he doesn't need any medication for it. He's looking for a peaceful forever home that's generally calm and quiet, and gentle humans who will shower him with the love, cuddles, and belly rubs he deserves. He can navigate a few stairs under supervision, but it's best that any stairs in the home are blocked off for his safety. If you’re looking for a fluffy, affectionate king who will fill your life with warmth, joy, and sunshine, Oso is ready to meet you! Oso is approximately 11 years old and 9 lbs. Sailor is a sweetie pie! He is about 10 years old and about 10 pounds, maybe a little less. He is a fluff ball that likes to be brushed. He is a total sweetheart who is a wonderful companion! He enjoys sharing g the couch for TV time, wandering the yard, and will gladly share your bed too!! He is fine with other dogs, although if they are large and excitable, he does get nervous. Sailor tries to ignore the cats, but they do seem to frighten him a little. He is friendly and sweet and loves to be loved. He is active, can go down the stairs easily, but would rather be picked up to go upstairs. He likes to go for walks, and would probably love a stroller if you plan to go on more lengthy walks. He enjoys attention, is crate trained and with frequent outdoor breaks that are consistent and often, he is good about house training. He appears to be pure Pom but we do not have papers.
