Story
Meet Brady! Brady arrived with the kind of heartbreak you can feel as soon as you meet a pup. Thirteen and a half years old, a tiny Pomeranian with a big history, suddenly uprooted after his mom’s dementia made it impossible for her to keep caring for him. Initially confused and scared when his world changed overnight, Brady has settled into his foster home like a total champ. He’s officially unbothered by his foster brother (a cat and possible villain), gets along beautifully with other dogs, and has found his new rhythm. It took him a few days to warm up to the new environment, but now he’s inching closer and closer to his foster family ~ trust is blooming in real time. A recent big milestone: Brady has let foster mom pick him up a couple of times with NO cries (a huge deal!). He’s still sensitive and needs very gentle encouragement, but he’s trying so hard. And don’t get him started on his midday lunchtime walk ~ when foster mom comes home, he lights up like it’s the best part of his entire day. Brady has lived well with other dogs before, understands yard-to-leash life, and will happily shout about whatever he thinks needs announcing (including the outrageous act of you sitting at the table to eat without him). He’s been shaved down because brushing isn’t his thing, and he’s a little unsure of crates. But deep down, he’s just a senior boy who lost his person and is trying to understand what comes next. Brady will need someone calm, gentle, and willing to help him feel safe again. Could it be you? Brady is approximately 13 years old and 9 lbs. More details to follow as we get to know him better. Story
Sailor is a sweetie pie! He is about 10 years old and about 10 pounds, maybe a little less. He is a fluff ball that likes to be brushed. He is a total sweetheart who is a wonderful companion! He enjoys sharing g the couch for TV time, wandering the yard, and will gladly share your bed too!! He is fine with other dogs, although if they are large and excitable, he does get nervous. Sailor tries to ignore the cats, but they do seem to frighten him a little. He is friendly and sweet and loves to be loved. He is active, can go down the stairs easily, but would rather be picked up to go upstairs. He likes to go for walks, and would probably love a stroller if you plan to go on more lengthy walks. He enjoys attention, is crate trained and with frequent outdoor breaks that are consistent and often, he is good about house training. He appears to be pure Pom but we do not have papers. He is neutered, vaccinated, chipped and HW -. Please email us to request an adoption application at marysmutts05@gmail.com.

Story
DOB 11-25-2022 Gina spent her short life in a breeding facility until just a few months ago. She gave birth to 3 little puppies but had no milk. We were given the option to purchase her and her puppies so of course we did. Gina is a sweet 8 pound girl, she is a little shy but gets along great with others, she loves to run in the yard, play and is now a pretty social girl. She has been spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and received a ProHeart6 protection injection. Gina's adoption fee is 850.00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC, they run every other week to their stops on the East Coast. They are the best transport and the only one we will use. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Ronnie is a 2-year-old, black and white Pomeranian that is absolutely gorgeous and he knows it. He has a tendency to be a little hyper around other dogs, as he LOVES to play with them, and we were told he would not leave the cats alone at the home where he used to live which was why he was given away. He was living outside in a pen 24/7 when his rescuer asked if she could have him. She promptly brought him to us to find a superb home for him. Ronnie settles once he gets your undivided attention when outside or when he is inside, in an x-pen so he doesn’t bowl over the elderly dogs that live at his foster home. When he is outside he has the company of both a 40 pound and a 55 pound dog to play with. He is scheduled to be groomed on 12/29 and will be scheduled for a neuter after that. Ronnie weighed 14.4 pounds on 12/18/25. He is up to date on vaccinations including Bordetella and is heartworm negative. He walks on a leash with only a little pulling and does well riding in a car when crated. Ronnie is being fostered in Arkansas. Ronnie’s adoption donation is $865 which includes the $165 transport cost. If you would like to adopt this beautiful boy, please fill out an adoption application.
