He was originally adopted as a tiny 9-week-old puppy, but through no fault of his own he was recently returned to the rescue just two weeks before his 11th birthday. While it’s a big change after so many years in one home, Nemo has handled it with incredible sweetness and resilience. This little 12-pound Pomeranian mix is the definition of a Velcro dog. He loves being close to his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to keep you company. Nemo is gentle, affectionate, and has a calm, loving personality that makes him a wonderful companion. Despite being a senior, Nemo still has plenty of playful moments! He enjoys: -Going on walks -Chasing squirrels in the backyard -Playing with toys -Wrestling and hanging out with the other dogs in his foster home He gets along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a canine friend, but he’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one-and-only. He was found as a stray and never reclaimed, which is hard to understand once you meet him because he’s friendly, sweet, and seems happy to be wherever his people are. Dexter is the kind of dog who fits right into your life without needing much from you. He walks nicely on a leash, rides great in the car, and loves tagging along for errands or trips. At home, he’s quiet and content, perfectly happy lounging nearby and keeping you company.
