Story
Langston is a 8 month-old Pomsky with a gorgeous tan, white, and black husky-patterned coat. He is expected to stay on the smaller side (currently around 12 lbs), making him a great fit for someone looking for a compact but energetic companion. Pomskies are known for being intelligent, playful, and full of personality. Langston definitely lives up to that. He will thrive in a home that can provide consistent training, structure, and daily activity. Due to our family’s busy schedule with school and work, we’re unable to give him the time and attention his breed needs. Because of this, we are looking for a loving, active, and responsible home that understands high-energy breeds. We care deeply about him and want to ensure he goes to the best possible home!

These pups are in Fate, Texas too!

Story
Miko was abandoned by people that moved out of a home and the new owners wanted to re-home him. We took him in because we didn't want him to go to a shelter, but he doesn't do well with our little ones. He is very energetic, playful, and loving. Loves other dogs and is neutered. He is house trained and chipped as well. I hope we can find the right home for him.

Story
Meet Lainey! Lainey's story has not been an easy one, but she is ready for a new beginning. She was surrendered due to her owner not being able to care for her anymore. Lainey is an approximately 2 year old female Husky mix weighing 45 pounds is now looking for a patient, understanding home where she can finally feel safe and secure. Lainey is shy at first but has a very sweet nature once she begins to warm up. She is still learning how to navigate the world and will need an experienced dog owner who can provide guidance, structure, and patience in order to build her confidence and learns how to simply be a dog again. She will benefit from continued leash training and positive reinforcement to help her thrive. Lainey does well with other dogs but has not lived with cats or children. If you currently have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is suggested prior to adoption to help ensure a good fit for everyone. Her adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her basic annual boosters, and heartworm negative. If you are ready to give Lainey the time, patience, and care she deserves, please apply online: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. Story
Meet Montana — a 2-year-old Shepherd mix weighing 56 lbs who is beginning his journey toward healing and a better life. Montana was surrendered when his previous owners were unable to properly care for him. At intake, he had a large laceration around his neck caused by a collar that had been too tight for far too long. He is currently receiving treatment and is already on the road to recovery — both physically and emotionally. Despite everything he's been through, Montana is a sweet soul who simply hasn't had the chance to learn what being a dog is all about. As he continues to decompress and gain confidence, we will update his bio with more details about his personality. For now, he is walking decently on a leash and will need a patient, loving family committed to helping him heal and discover the good life he deserves. Montana is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccine, and boosters are up to date. He is heartworm positive, but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, his treatment is sponsored so he can get back to living a healthy life as soon as possible. Due to his condition at intake, we have not paired Montana with other dogs yet. If you have dogs in the home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to ensure a good match. Adoption fee: $125 If you are interested in adopting Montana, please complete an online adoption application: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
