Meet Bella! Bella is a beautiful 3-year-old Husky mix weighing around 53 lbs who is looking for a new beginning after being surrendered when her family moved to a home that did not allow pets. Though the change has been hard on her, Bella is ready to find a patient, loving family who will give her the time and support she needs to thrive. Bella is a sweet girl who is still gaining confidence. She will need a family willing to work with her on leash training and help her continue to build trust and self-assurance at her own pace. With patience and consistency, she has so much potential to shine. True to her Husky nature, Bella is active and energetic and will do best with an active family who can provide regular exercise and mental stimulation. She does well with respectful children who understand giving her space when she needs it. Bella is not compatible with cats. Her adoption fee is $125. She is spayed, microchipped, current on mu rabies vaccination, DAPPV, and Bordetella. She did test heartworm positive but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, her treatment is sponsored, and she will be able to receive treatment right away. Henry has been the neighborhood dog for a few years at Rainbow Cove. The neighborhood has fed, doctored and sheltered him. He is good with kids and adults. The greeter to everyone who visited or fished on the dock. Now that Sabine has taken over, Henry has no home. Most of the residents are moving to parks that do not allow dogs. We have 5 so cannot take him. Please if anyone needs a gentle companion please let me know.

Cherokee came from an area neighborhood known for loose dogs and way too many pregnant ones. Her Mom was mostly Black Lab, father unknown. We had to trap her to save her life. She is full grown now and is between 40 to 50 lbs. It has been a long road of socialization but Cherokee wants to please and is so anxious to be loved. She now walks on a leash and is now ready for the next stage in her life- a permanent and loving home. We had some 6th graders visit and she loved their attention. She has her wings now and is ready to fly off to a new adventure. Giving her a home will be the most awesome experience.
