Story
We adopted Leo from a reputable breeder in September 2022. He is 4 years old, up to date on all of his vaccinations, and neutered. Leo is wonderful with children and gets along great with other dogs. He’s playful without being hyper, calm around the house, incredibly smart, and has a goofy personality that always makes us smile. He truly is a loving, gentle companion. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for our family. Since bringing Leo home, we’ve welcomed two babies, have another one on the way, and our second child has begun showing signs of dog allergies. On top of that, work has become much busier, and we simply aren’t able to give Leo the time, attention, and active life he deserves. We’re looking for a loving, responsible family that will treat Leo as part of their own. Finding the right home is much more important to us than finding one quickly. We’d like to meet prospective adopters in person and get to know the family before making a decision.

Story
Artemis is a stunning young husky/German Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a bright future ahead of her. This beautiful girl has already captured us with her sweet nature and soulful eyes — and she’s more than ready to find the loving home she deserves. She is housebroken and food motivated. She wants to be close to humans and ADORES other dogs. She is the ultimate pack follower and truly loves being part of the family. She is shy at first but still has a strong desire to be close to the humans. She will do best in a home with another playful dog (or more than 1!) and will need a calm and patient leader who will help her understand what is expected of her. She is housebroken and sleeps in a crate at night.

To apply for Frankie please visit Northwest Rescue Collective, www.northwestrescuecollective.com Adoption fee $100 Frankie is a handsome 9 year old senior husky who's more then ready to find his forever home. Frankie is a truly special boy who is ready for the fresh start he deserves. Once he feels safe, he is incredibly loyal, sweet, and deeply devoted to his people — the kind of dog who forms strong bonds and stays close to those he trusts. Frankie’s favorites include: • Playing fetch, running, and enjoying daily walks • Spending time with kids • Soaking up outdoor adventures, then relaxing indoors for cozy downtime What Frankie needs to thrive: • A large, securely fenced yard • A home without cats or chickens • Slow, thoughtful introductions to new people Frankie is a survivor. He was found as a stray in Eastern WA with an injured eye, we think from being hit. He ended up losing his eye but it hasn’t dimmed his spirit or his ability to love. He just needs a patient, understanding family who will let him move at his own pace and show him that the world can be kind. In return, Frankie will give unwavering loyalty, affection, and a heart full of gratitude. If you believe in second chances and are ready to help a deserving dog continue his healing journey, Frankie may be the one you’ve been waiting for.

Story
Meet Scooby. We adopted him around the end of May. Hes a Mutt Mix of Pitbull, Husky, and German Shepard and a very playfull guy and loves to be around people. Hes 1 Year a 4 Months old. He has had some training with a trainer however he needs to work on mouthyness with people as he gets very excited. He is fairly good at sit and down. This is really hard for us as we truly love Scooby but we think he would do much better with access to a yard or with someone who is much better at training. He is on a pretty luxurious diet currently although he does have a sensitive stomach so he does take probiotics. One thing that we will require is someone with an active lifestyle. We currently walk him at least 2 miles a day and he still has energy so that is something that is non negotiable. He is currently taking trazedone but that is from when he was in the shelter and can be weened off when he feels comfortable in his home.
