Story
Nova is almost 4. She is high energy and friendly. She generally gets along with everyone but experiences some anxiety around young children and has shown some tendency towards food aggression. We love her but we have a 5 year old and have some concerns since she gets anxious around him when he is being hyper. She would make a great addition to a family with a yard for her to run in and either no children or children over 10.

Story
MEET SULLY. Sully is a small and shy 11-month-old shepherd-husky-pit mix in need of a new home. He is about 40 lbs - and a bit scared of the world. Sully takes awhile to warm up to a person, but with some love and patience, he will blossom into a wonderful dog. He's very bonded to his brother, Cole, but Sully may also do better on his own, so he cannot rely on his brother for support. He will do best in a quiet home with an active person or couple who can give him the time and love that he needs. Please email for an application. Thank you.

Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!!  My name is Sophie from Korea and I am a wonderful approx. 8 yr old female Pomeranian.  I am about 9 lbs. and hoping to find a  forever home.  I am friendly and was saved from an illegal Breeding Farm in South Korea.  I was rescued with many others by local activists from the horrific conditions we were in.  I fought to survive everyday.  I was so badly neglected.  Korea kills an estimated 1.5 -2 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I just want a chance to be part of a family and for someone to love and care for me.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family. Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,195 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  We do not guarantee the breed and age of the dogs.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail at  admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
MEET COLE! Cole is an 11-month-old Husky mix in need of a new home! We're not sure what he's mixed with - possibly shepherd, possibly supermutt! Cole and his brothers and sister were rescued as infants when their mom (a husky-shepherd mix) found herself at a shelter, nursing her pups. They are now grown up and ready for a new home. Cole and his brother Sully are currently in a foster home near Seattle - Cole is the more outgoing of the two, and Sully is quite scared/skittish. Once the brothers are separated, Sully should come out of his shell more. Cole will do well in a quiet home with an active person or people who have patience, and can take him for walks, hikes and other outings. Please email for an application. Thank you.
