Story
JR is about 12 years old and weighs 20 lbs. Despite his age he’s still active and playful, and walks well on leash. He’s been with us for several years and was very timid. Our staff has been working to socialize him. He’s still a little shy when meeting new people but once he gets to know you he’s friendly. JR is looking for a forever home where he can spend his golden years with a family who is patient and loving. Story
Lottie is 2 years old and weighs 16 lbs. She’s friendly with people and social with other dogs. We found her roaming around a park in Tijuana and had an obvious injured eye. We had our vet examine her and he determined that the eye was beyond saving, and performed an enenucleation. While Lottie may only have one eye, it doesn’t stop her from being an active and playful young girl. Story
Chiquita(Chica) is the last of 9 puppies to be placed in a home. She loves attention and I think with seeing her siblings go away causes her to be a little timid. She is a good watch dog and loves exercise. She has not been around kids, cats and dogs other than her 9 siblings. She likes to be in her kennel or personal space to sleep and also likes to be outside during the day. I think a few dog training classes @ Petco or Petsmart will get her use to being around other dogs and people. We have had her mother for 4 yrs and her father lives down the street form us. Both parents are healthy and great dogs. Picture uploaded of parents. We are looking to find Chiquita a good loving home. She had 4 puppies this year July 7 and needs to be spayed. We are also looking to find homes for her 2 remaining pups.

Story
My name is Bruno and I cannot wait to be a part of a family. I am a super happy and smiley 3 year old pug mix and I weigh a solid 30 pounds. I am energetic and curious but also love cuddles. I am house trained, sleep in my crate at night, know how to "sit"  and do well on a leash. I've been going to doggy daycare and I absolutely LOVE it, they say I'm a rockstar with all the other dogs. I am nervous around new people but I warm up quickly. If you have an active home and like to go on adventures I am the dog for you! Can't wait to meet you!!! ##1784903##

Story
Adoption Event: Saturday 10/08/22 at Petsmart: 877 E H St, Chula Vista, CA 91910 From 3:30 to 6 pm - Come and meet our sweet, loving, funny pug puppy Chico:) he is a joy to have around. He loves people, kids, and loves to play with other dogs although when he first meets he barks at them because he wants to play. We encourage experience pug experience adopters to apply for him. He is a purebred baby boy who was being neglected by his previous owners, leaving him outside and not feeding him. In spite of this bad beginning for him, he is so amazingly lovable. His foster family loves him so much that they are offering to dog sit whenever his new family will need a dog sitter:) He is a small breed, and he is currently at 18 lbs - he has a nice shining black coat :) Chico loves to play with his toys, specially with balls, loves them:) he is very fast, and very active:) He is leashed trained - loves to go for walks and he is potty trained - however, he just got neutered and he will need to be redirected to his new potty training areas as he is still a puppy and changing environment of homes will need the additional guidance. He will not last long - we are taking appointments for this weekend - Are you ready to give him a forever home? If so, Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st way of contact or email veronica.aaofusa@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . *Note: Our website has been giving us some issues - if you have a problem logging in please text Veronica at 619-576-0747. If approved, the adoption coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a Meet-and-Greet appointment. No appointments will be made unless we have received an application; therefore, we can match you with the best fit for you. Follow us on Instagram @aaofus where you can see more pics. Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date yearly 3 puppy DHLPP vaccinations, spaying or neutering, deworming, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- A minute of conscious - Please read:) We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers.. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!

Story
Ares is a 4 year old boston terrier that I acquired from an uncle. He is very energetic, loves to play and run and he is very easy to love. One important detail about Ares is that he is deaf. To him and I that hasn't been an issue while having him. I got to learn his needs and so, but it did meant I was not able to train him since I was unaware on how to. I am looking for a new family that won't mind him being deaf, as well as one that would provide him with a better life quality than the one I am giving him.
