Story
Toots is the puggin’ cutest! Hello, there! My name is Toots. I’m an adorable, snuggle-pug who can’t wait to be your buddy. I’m a 1-year-old, 16-pound pug mix. I was recently found on the streets of Mexico, livin’ that pug life. Now I’m neutered, happy, healthy, and ready to cuddle into a home with you! I’m a total people-pooch who is cuddly and kissy with my humans. I would love to be on your lap at all times and would happily take a nap with you. Speaking of which, I’m a big fan of a good snooze sprinkled in with some walks and playtime. I currently live happily in a foster home with other dogs but I prefer a slow introduction. I can try to assert my big, tough, puggy male dominance but I’ll settle down over time. I haven’t met any cats or kids yet, so I’m not sure what I think about them. I’m a very good boy who is already bathroom, house, and leash trained. Score! I can be a little protective over my toys and food, but nothing out of the ordinary. I get a little sad when you leave but I’m fine flying solo for short periods of time. I can’t wait to keep working on my training in a loving home with you! Why should you take me home? Well, if my adorable face isn’t reason enough, I’m a sweet, snuggly boy that you’re bound to fall for! I’m relatively low maintenance and would make a pawfect first dog. All I need is a bit of playtime, walks, and lots of love and I’ll be the happiest little dude. Not to TOOT my own horn, but I’m the perfect pup for you! My adoption fee is $500 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/ ##2049339##

Story
The girl with the winning smile! Hey guys! I am Sussie, Sussie Q. I am a 3.5 years old, female Pug mix, spayed and about 11 lbs. Heard of the Chandler 55 case? Yes, I am a part of the disabled hoarded dog pack that was rescued from the monster house. With my sweet spirit and smile, you’d never guess what I have gone through. But only when you see my vet report! It’s manageable I pawmise. I am a TAP Medical Dog that has pending Cleft palette repair surgery which will be covered by TAP. I have Congenital Angular front limb deformity and Chronic orthopedic condition that affects mobility in hind legs that may have been caused by soft tissue injury that has healed. I have started a monthly injection of Librela (Cost depends on established vet pricing and dosage, ~$100-$200). It is the first and only monthly anti-NGF Monoclonal antibody injection to help control pain for canines with Osteoarthritis. At this time, my foster mom states that the Librela is working. As long as I am being medically managed for mobility issues no surgery is necessary, but will not know know more until later. Surgery will be my adopter’s financial responsibility if it is determined it is needed later by our future established vet. I am eligible for a Medical Foster-to-Adopt only Regarding my training, I am leash trained for the 5-10 min walks I take due to leg deformities. The stroller with a soft blankie is my friend! I am pee pad trained. I do have poo-eating problem that we are working on. If you have any tips or one of those pineapple eating techniques, please let us know! I am not crate trained. Now coming to my personality, the best part! My mama says that I am an absolute perfection! I love playing with dogs and toys, chewing on bones and sometimes your stuff haha but being all cute about it! I am a lap dog and you’d love my snuggles. If I could climb up on your shoulders and into your skin, I would do it! We can be best mates watching tv, all cuddling and being adorable. I am quite fond of dogs, but big ones are scarier and need warming up time. I havent met cats yet, but I think I will be fine. what, how do I even chase them?! I am very good with kids! I do get separation anxiety where I get anxious and scream, but having another dog completely calms me. I am obviously not a hiking dog, but I do make a good cafe date in my stroller. I am always grateful for my rescue and leaving behind that house of horrors. I do a lil dance when I get a new soft blanket and my zeal is infectious. I am the absolutely cutest little nugget that everyone falls in love with when they meet. I am looking for only the best home that will spoil me rotten because that is what this little princess deserves. If there are no dogs in the home I will need humans around for companionship. Any DINK couple around that likes to bring their dog everywhere with them? I am looking for a home with the best chew bones, softest blankets, and good sunbathing spots. If you think you have that X-factor, let’s go get a drink together! My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. Story
Adoption Event: Saturday 10/08/22 at Petsmart: 877 E H St, Chula Vista, CA 91910 From 3:30 to 6 pm - Come and meet our sweet, loving, funny pug puppy Chico:) he is a joy to have around. He loves people, kids, and loves to play with other dogs although when he first meets he barks at them because he wants to play. We encourage experience pug experience adopters to apply for him. He is a purebred baby boy who was being neglected by his previous owners, leaving him outside and not feeding him. In spite of this bad beginning for him, he is so amazingly lovable. His foster family loves him so much that they are offering to dog sit whenever his new family will need a dog sitter:) He is a small breed, and he is currently at 18 lbs - he has a nice shining black coat :) Chico loves to play with his toys, specially with balls, loves them:) he is very fast, and very active:) He is leashed trained - loves to go for walks and he is potty trained - however, he just got neutered and he will need to be redirected to his new potty training areas as he is still a puppy and changing environment of homes will need the additional guidance. He will not last long - we are taking appointments for this weekend - Are you ready to give him a forever home? If so, Please text at 619-576-0747 as 1st way of contact or email veronica.aaofusa@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . *Note: Our website has been giving us some issues - if you have a problem logging in please text Veronica at 619-576-0747. If approved, the adoption coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a Meet-and-Greet appointment. No appointments will be made unless we have received an application; therefore, we can match you with the best fit for you. Follow us on Instagram @aaofus where you can see more pics. Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date yearly 3 puppy DHLPP vaccinations, spaying or neutering, deworming, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- A minute of conscious - Please read:) We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers.. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!!

Story
Adoption Event Saturday 11/04/23 AT PETCO: 1780 Garnet Ave - Pacific Beach, CA 92109 Come to meet our sweet and loving sweet pea "Burbuja" she is a petite girl who had her puppies over 2 months ago and she is ready to conquer the world!!
