Meet Toby – The King of the Castle in Training Toby is a 4-year-old Chi/Pug mix with a big personality packed into a small body. He believes every castle needs a king, and he's more than willing to apply for the position! While Toby would love to run the household, he truly thrives when his people provide clear boundaries, structure, and consistent expectations. This handsome little guy has an expressive face that often looks concerned, but don't be fooled—it's mostly part of his charm. Underneath that serious expression is a loving, loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. Toby enjoys being the center of attention and would do best in a home without cats. He can live with other dogs, but he prefers canine companions who are confident, sturdy, and able to handle his enthusiastic personality. Because Toby likes to be in charge, he is not a good match for small, frail, or senior dogs. With guidance, routine, and loving leadership, Toby relaxes into a wonderful companion. He's always up for an adventure, especially once he realizes the car isn't headed to the vet! Whether he's riding shotgun on a road trip or curled up beside you on the couch, Toby is happiest when he's sharing life with his favorite humans. Freya is the daughter of Gypsy & is bonded with her. This sweet bonded pair loves nothing more than hanging out together. Most days, you’ll find them lounging on their dog beds in the office, hoarding toys, sunbathing, or exploring the yard. They are just the sweetest girls. They will occasionally bark at me when they get excited for their dinner or when I first come home. It is excitement. Freya is Gypsy’s biological daughter. They’re also on Simparica Trio, which works best for them since Gypsy has a flea allergy. Gypsy does have a cherry eye—our vet says it isn’t painful and doesn’t require surgery unless it worsens. They’re housebroken as long as they’re let out on a regular schedule. At night, they sleep peacefully on their beds. While they’re reliable, they may occasionally use a puppy pad if one is available in the home.

A SUPER SWEET GIRL: Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 13 lbs. Hi, my name's Lorraine! I came to Mostly Mutts when I needed a new home and I sure am enjoying the love and attention from the volunteers here and can't wait to soak up all the love that awaits me in my new home!    • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met some dogs at Mostly Mutts and didn't seem interested in meeting them—though I showed no aggression, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers say I'm the sweetest little cuddle bug, and all I really want is to be close to my people! I was a little unsure of the bath sprayer, so I liked to hold onto my bather's arm during my bath, but once I was wrapped up in a towel, I was happy to be held and showered my bather with kisses and tail wags. I have the happiest full-body wags and so much love to give that it's hard not to keep cuddling me! I'm curious and ready to explore the world, especially on walks. / Energy level: 4-6.       • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’  command. I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been pretty good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too.     • LIKES/DISLIKES: Spending time with my people is just the best! After a fun walk or play session, I love nothing more than to curl up in a lap on the bench outside the shelter for lots of pets and affection. I'm a loving, sweet girl who thinks kisses, cuddles, and being close to my favorite people are the very best things in the world! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I take an inexpensive over the counter Cosequin chew daily is great for my joints. I am looking for a loving home with a great, furever family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga. October 6, 2026, 6:43 am
