Story
Meet Auggie Auggie is seeking a local, adult only home with a fenced yard and a similarly sized playmate! Auggie is an adorable 6.5 yr old, 15 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who was picked up a stray and never reclaimed. He was highly stressed in the shelter and we didn’t hesitate to pull him when his time was up. Auggie is a sweet silly boy, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. He loves toys! He enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. Auggie loves to play with other similar sized energetic dogs but is intimidated by bigger dogs. He is looking for a home with another small dog and will not be placed in a home with big dogs! . Older dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm. He does okay with a dog savvy cat but for cats not used to dogs he would not be a good fit. Auggie is a resource guarder and because of this he will not be placed in a home with children. He has super sensitive hearing and will protect you from the UPS truck so apartment living is not in his future! Auggie is crate trained and housetrained. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention. He does need to lose a couple pounds. Auggie has been in foster care for quite some time now and we really dont know why - we know the perfect home is out there somewhere! LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE

Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Lola Jean and Angus Daniel are a bonded 2-year-old pair who are looking for a home together, where they can continue to thrive side by side. Lola Jean is a female Bulldog mix with a fun, enthusiastic personality. She is food motivated and enjoys learning and engaging with people. She has moderate to high energy and can get very excited when heading somewhere she’s interested in, which can lead to some strong pulling on leash. In her kennel, she has been reliable and has not had accidents. Angus Daniel is a 2-year-old Scottish Terrier mix who tends to be more calm and easygoing. He walks very well on leash and has a relaxed presence overall. He is still working on consistency with potty habits and may occasionally have accidents in his kennel, but he is continuing to improve. Together, Lola Jean and Angus Daniel bring out the best in each other. They are both noticeably more settled, confident, and content when they are together, and their bond provides them with comfort and balance. They are looking for a home that can welcome them both and continue supporting their individual needs while celebrating the strong connection they share. Lola Jean currently weighs about 42lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 08/16/02023), and her adoption fee is $510. Lola Jean has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Lola Jean, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Aunt Pearl — a Sweet Soul Who Never Lost Her Joy Hi, my name is Aunt Pearl. It is so nice to meet you. I’m a big goofball with a gentle heart. I love to trot around, explore, and be part of whatever is happening. I may be a little different, but I don’t let that stop me. In my previous life, I needed eye surgery that I never received. Over time, I lost some of my vision. The world became a little harder to see, and now I need daily eyedrops to keep my eyes comfortable. It wasn’t fair, but I learned to adapt. Today, I live at a doggy daycare, and I do everything the other dogs do. I run, play, go up and down stairs, and greet each day with happiness. I haven’t let my past take away my spirit. What I want most is a home of my own — someone who will love me, care for me, and never let me be forgotten again. I am still joyful. Still loving. Still full of life. If you’d like to meet me, please apply today. I’m ready for my forever home. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143To apply, go to  https://savecares.com/adoption-application/Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2026, 12:13 am

📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: She was found wandering the streets of Paju, South Korea in 2022. She ended up at a high-kill shelter but was thankfully rescued just in time. Since then, she’s been living in a private shelter with many other dogs, charming everyone with her affectionate personality. Now, she’s ready to find a forever family of her own! • Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Goofy Moana is truly one of a kind. She quickly won the hearts of volunteers with her gentle, loving nature. She follows people around like a little shadow, happily greeting everyone—even strangers—with tail wags and affection. Moana thrives on human interaction and loves tug-of-war, belly rubs, and being the center of attention. Her energy level is moderate, making her a great balance of playful and calm. • Affinity with - Dogs: Moana is incredibly social—not just with people, but with dogs, too. She’s often the first to welcome new arrivals at the shelter, helping them feel safe and at ease. While she would thrive as the only dog in the home, Moana also does best with calm dog companions. - Cats: Not tested with cats - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / She hasn’t been tested with cats or kids, but based on her gentle demeanor, we believe she’d do well with respectful children. • Walking Manners: Moana has also started practicing her leash skills and is doing great! She may pull a little at times, but overall, she walks well and is eager to please. • Housetrained: As she’s lived in a shelter, Moana will need some house-training in a home setting. • Bathing/Brushing: She’s tolerant of baths and grooming. • Car Sickness: She’s curious and alert during car rides, taking in the world around her. • Separation Anxiety: Zero. • Barks/Howls: Very quiet • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 5 • Likes/Dislikes: She loves affection & treats! • Health: Moana finished her heartworm treatment in Oct 2024 and is in great health. She underwent successful surgery for an inguinal hernia in Mar 2025 and has fully recovered. She has a clean bill of health and is ready for her new adventure! (Her two front bottom teeth are missing) 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.
