Story
A SWEET & LOVING GIRL:  Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 40 lbs. & needs to lose weight Hi, my name is Yvette!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control along with another doggie friend.  I think I can speak for both us when I say we are grateful to now be part of the MM family!  I’m enjoying spreading all the love around to the volunteers at the shelter, and I am now ready to bring lots of joy to my new home!  Let’s meet and see if we are the perfect match for a life of love and fun!  You’ll notice, I’ve been fed too much in the past, so I’m on the green bean diet and would like my family to help me shed some weight.  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and – though just a little shy and shut down at the time we met – I did fine.  I showed some possible toy guarding in a temp. foster home when one of the dogs came near the gate that separated us, but I was also new to the home, so please ask the MM trainers about that.  I DID come in with another dog that I liked, so if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / A 16-year-old cat walked by me in a temp. foster home and I was not fazed.  All cats are different, so I’m not sure how I would be with another cat. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a super sweet girl who can be a bit shy initially, but my calm and loving nature begins to emerge once I know you are my friend.  I’ve done best on my walks when the volunteers take a moment to sit down with me and talk calmly to me.  It seems to build my confidence for the walk, and then I do well on my leash.  I was relaxed and calm during my bath – seeming to look at it as a big adventure.  My sweet face and cute underbite will bring a smile to your face – every time. / Energy level:  4-6.   • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘come’ and ‘drop it’ commands, and I look forward to learning more.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts and in a temp. foster home. / My potty habits have been very good on the shelter schedule and in a temp. foster home, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too.    • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I’m all about the love once I know we are buddies.  Your calm words of encouragement will help me continue to grow my confidence, so let’s hang out together and have some nice ‘conversations’ – with some cuddles and kisses thrown in. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I’m taking a good over-the-counter Cosequin tablet as I have a mild luxating patella in my right rear knee – grade 2.  I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I am looking for a family to give me loving, furever home for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  March 25, 2026, 3:56 pm

Story
Meet Auggie Auggie is seeking a local, adult only home with a fenced yard and a similarly sized playmate! Auggie is an adorable 6.5 yr old, 15 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who was picked up a stray and never reclaimed. He was highly stressed in the shelter and we didn’t hesitate to pull him when his time was up. Auggie is a sweet silly boy, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. He loves toys! He enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. Auggie loves to play with other similar sized energetic dogs but is intimidated by bigger dogs. He is looking for a home with another small dog and will not be placed in a home with big dogs! . Older dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm. He does okay with a dog savvy cat but for cats not used to dogs he would not be a good fit. Auggie is a resource guarder and because of this he will not be placed in a home with children. He has super sensitive hearing and will protect you from the UPS truck so apartment living is not in his future! Auggie is crate trained and housetrained. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention. He does need to lose a couple pounds. Auggie has been in foster care for quite some time now and we really dont know why - we know the perfect home is out there somewhere! LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Aunt Pearl — a Sweet Soul Who Never Lost Her Joy Hi, my name is Aunt Pearl. It is so nice to meet you. I’m a big goofball with a gentle heart. I love to trot around, explore, and be part of whatever is happening. I may be a little different, but I don’t let that stop me. In my previous life, I needed eye surgery that I never received. Over time, I lost some of my vision. The world became a little harder to see, and now I need daily eyedrops to keep my eyes comfortable. It wasn’t fair, but I learned to adapt. Today, I live at a doggy daycare, and I do everything the other dogs do. I run, play, go up and down stairs, and greet each day with happiness. I haven’t let my past take away my spirit. What I want most is a home of my own — someone who will love me, care for me, and never let me be forgotten again. I am still joyful. Still loving. Still full of life. If you’d like to meet me, please apply today. I’m ready for my forever home. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143To apply, go to  https://savecares.com/adoption-application/Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 12, 2026, 12:13 am

📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: She was found wandering the streets of Paju, South Korea in 2022. She ended up at a high-kill shelter but was thankfully rescued just in time. Since then, she’s been living in a private shelter with many other dogs, charming everyone with her affectionate personality. Now, she’s ready to find a forever family of her own! • Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Goofy Moana is truly one of a kind. She quickly won the hearts of volunteers with her gentle, loving nature. She follows people around like a little shadow, happily greeting everyone—even strangers—with tail wags and affection. Moana thrives on human interaction and loves tug-of-war, belly rubs, and being the center of attention. Her energy level is moderate, making her a great balance of playful and calm. • Affinity with - Dogs: Moana is incredibly social—not just with people, but with dogs, too. She’s often the first to welcome new arrivals at the shelter, helping them feel safe and at ease. While she would thrive as the only dog in the home, Moana also does best with calm dog companions. - Cats: Not tested with cats - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / She hasn’t been tested with cats or kids, but based on her gentle demeanor, we believe she’d do well with respectful children. • Walking Manners: Moana has also started practicing her leash skills and is doing great! She may pull a little at times, but overall, she walks well and is eager to please. • Housetrained: As she’s lived in a shelter, Moana will need some house-training in a home setting. • Bathing/Brushing: She’s tolerant of baths and grooming. • Car Sickness: She’s curious and alert during car rides, taking in the world around her. • Separation Anxiety: Zero. • Barks/Howls: Very quiet • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 5 • Likes/Dislikes: She loves affection & treats! • Health: Moana finished her heartworm treatment in Oct 2024 and is in great health. She underwent successful surgery for an inguinal hernia in Mar 2025 and has fully recovered. She has a clean bill of health and is ready for her new adventure! (Her two front bottom teeth are missing) 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.
