Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  Adoption fee is $400 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.     This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. Cori is a 14 yr old pug with a lot of life left in him.  His hobbies include eating, sleeping and following his person around the house ....everywhere.  Cori also loves staring blankly at you while you talk to him although he probably can't hear a word you're saying - he's very hard of hearing.  Cori feels anything worth doing must be done while his tongue hangs out of his mouth. Cori doesn't care about other dogs or cats....he pays them zero attention.And now - the hard truths about Cori: Originally rescued in 2015, Cori was returned after 10yrs due to his owner's health issues.  He is very regimented (he'll let you know if you're running late on feedings).  He is on a special urinary tract health food and is a gobbler. He has like 5 teeth and breath that would scare off a skunk. Cori wears a belly band at night, napping and while home alone. He cannot hold it like his younger self could but he does try and does let you know when he needs to go out, he just doesn't make it sometimes. Whether this is from old age or his bladder health, we don't know yet.Don't let that long list of truths scare you. Cori is old fella who is a good boy. He wants a bed, meals (on time!), and a hand to pet him while he lives out his last days on this earth.Cori loves to go for adventures. He loves meeting people and being in the center of attention. He's gone to farmers markets, flea markets, festivals and has been a head turner at every one of them.Cori isn't just a senior pug he's a whole vibe....and he knows it.

Mason is totally housebroken, gets along with other dogs, super sweet and loves to cuddle. He is such a good boy his only downfall is he’s a little shy of people at first. He’s an excellent walker on a leash and he’s learning commands. Mason is a Husky / Shihtzu - Chihuahua mix with short legs and weighs about 30 pounds.  His birthdate is around September 2022. ##1698992##

Meet Auggie Auggie is seeking a local, adult only home with a fenced yard and a similarly sized playmate! Auggie is an adorable 6.5 yr old, 15 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who was picked up a stray and never reclaimed. He was highly stressed in the shelter and we didn’t hesitate to pull him when his time was up. Auggie is a sweet silly boy, a definite lap dog and does expect full furniture privileges. He loves toys! He enjoys going for walks and rides in the car. Auggie loves to play with other similar sized energetic dogs but is intimidated by bigger dogs. He is looking for a home with another small dog and will not be placed in a home with big dogs! . Older dogs may not appreciate his enthusiasm. He does okay with a dog savvy cat but for cats not used to dogs he would not be a good fit. Auggie is a resource guarder and because of this he will not be placed in a home with children. He has super sensitive hearing and will protect you from the UPS truck so apartment living is not in his future! Auggie is crate trained and housetrained. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, HW tested negative and on prevention. He does need to lose a couple pounds. Auggie has been in foster care for quite some time now and we really dont know why - we know the perfect home is out there somewhere! LOCAL INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE
