Story
Blanche is a 3.5 year old French Bulldog with IBS who is easy to care for as long as her diet remains consistent. She does eat a prescription food. Blanche loves other dogs and plays hard. She loves toys and is perfectly crate trained. She lives with cats and gets along fine with them, but she will participate in a game of chase! Blanche needs to be taken out frequently. She is housebroken, but will potty if you don't keep up with her. Blanche is a big people lover, and her first choice is to be snuggled up with you. She has food indiscretion and must be watched. She will have a stomach episode if she gets into something other than her prescription food. Blanche is currently 20 pounds. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm, negative, and on prevention.

Story
Meet Toby – The King of the Castle in Training Toby is a 3-year-old Chi/Pug mix with a big personality packed into a small body. He believes every castle needs a king, and he's more than willing to apply for the position! While Toby would love to run the household, he truly thrives when his people provide clear boundaries, structure, and consistent expectations. This handsome little guy has an expressive face that often looks concerned, but don't be fooled—it's mostly part of his charm. Underneath that serious expression is a loving, loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. Toby enjoys being the center of attention and would do best in a home without cats. He can live with other dogs, but he prefers canine companions who are confident, sturdy, and able to handle his enthusiastic personality. Because Toby likes to be in charge, he is not a good match for small, frail, or senior dogs. With guidance, routine, and loving leadership, Toby relaxes into a wonderful companion. He's always up for an adventure, especially once he realizes the car isn't headed to the vet! Whether he's riding shotgun on a road trip or curled up beside you on the couch, Toby is happiest when he's sharing life with his favorite humans. If you're looking for a loyal little sidekick with a big heart, a touch of royal confidence, and plenty of love to give, Toby may be the perfect addition to your family. ##2535572##

Story
LEARNING TO TRUST: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 10 lbs. Hi there, I’m Portia!  I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a new home and family. I’m glad they rescued me and a few other dog friends and I’m looking forward to finding my furever family. I’ve just gone into a foster home, so there may be even more information about me soon. ·   OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, but I did come in with a few other dog friends, so if you have a sweet dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet if you have calmer kids, and best no toddlers that may fall on me. ·   PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a very sweet, loving girl who just needs a little time to warm up to new people and situations. I don’t remember my past, but I do have some fears that I’m working on overcoming, so I appreciate when people go slowly and let me build trust. Once I feel comfortable, I’m incredibly affectionate—I’ll happily climb into your lap if you sit on the ground and shower you with kisses! I was also very brave during my bath and ear cleaning, standing at the edge of the tub, leaning into my bather, and offering lots of sweet kisses along the way. Because I can become frightened and may try to run if startled, it’s important that I’m npt off leash and that doors are opened carefully to help keep me safe. With patience, kindness, and a secure home, my loving personality will continue to blossom. / Energy level: 4-6.     ·   SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands, I also use proper door etiquette at the shelter and accept friendly strangers without jumping on them. Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners were good at Mostly Mutts, and I liked coming out of it when one of my dog friends encouraged me. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too.   ·   LIKES/DISLIKES: I love being held, curling up in a warm lap, and spending time with calm, quiet people. Soft, cozy places to relax are some of my favorite spots, and I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by kindness, comfort, and gentle affection. / Sudden movements really startle me, and I found my photo session a little scary, but I’m gaining confidence every day. Gentle, patient handling helps me feel safe and secure. And like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. ·   MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. If you have a nice calm home and family that will give me time to feel at home, we could be a great match! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 20, 2026, 7:13 am
