Story
Meet Duke, an 11 year old pug terrier mix with lots of love to give. Duke is very playful, and still gets excited for walks as he retrieves his leash to let you know it's time to go out. He's a sweet boy that enjoys cuddling on the couch, or just following you around like a shadow. He has a 1 of a kind personality, and is still very young at heart. He gets along great with any other dogs, haven't had him around any cats, but he's very laid back, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him cuddling with a cat. Duke has been neutered and has all his vaccinations, so if you'd like to give this sweet loving boy a chance at a good life please apply today. Duke is being fostered in Taneytown Maryland Pa LIC #17216 https://forms.gle/LDjduj2zTk7vvmHU7

Story
Gonzo is an adorable, almost 5-month-old Pug with all the classic Pug charm — happy, snuggly, playful, and full of that spunky little personality everyone loves! This sweet boy’s absolute favorite thing in the world is being with his person. He’s a total shadow dog who will happily follow you everywhere. When he’s not soaking up snuggles, he’s busy entertaining himself with toys — crinkly toys, squeaky toys, bouncy toys… if it’s a toy, Gonzo loves it! He’s great with other dogs and kids, making him an easy fit for many types of families. Gonzo is the whole pug-package and is ready to wiggle his way into his forever home! Local adoption fee is $400(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $800 (includes transport to your area)

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue is primarily a sanctuary for senior and medically needy dogs.  Every once in awhile you will see younger dogs but for the most part our dogs live out their life at the ranch at the request of their previous owners or their owners families.  We have many sponsorship dogs.  Our sponsors love to keep in touch and know how their sponsored fur buddy is doing :) When we have foster families we are thrilled to be able to take adoptable younger dogs :)  So if you have ever thought about becoming fosters please feel free to go to our foster/volunteer page and fill out an application. The Ranch located at 737 Taylor Rd., Windsor, PA is always looking for dedicated volunteers that will commit to at least a 2 hour shift per week at the rescue.  Volunteers work in play yards, help with laundry and feeding.  Some enjoy landscaping or carpentry projects and some like to bake for the healing center visitors :) Thank you for supporting our mission of caring for the elderly and medically needy souls that need us! Hellow my name is Layla I think.  I lived in a really dirty house with 148 dogs.  It wasn't very fun and it smelled REALLY bad which means I smelled really bad too :(  Here at the ranch they love us and give us spa days and really good food!  I'm still really scared I'm not used to people touching me and wanting to pick me up so I run and hide but momma Lynn says I will learn to trust it will just take a little time :)  So I would love to go with GiGi cause she is my best friend but as long as I have another small dog maybe I will be OKREQUIREMENTSAnother small dogFenced YardVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt dogs to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop! Well my momma got me and she lived in an apartment where she wasn't allowed to have pets so me and Dolly had to find new homes.  I like Dolly but I'm not attached to her.  I totally ok without being around her so the rescue is not making us stay together frankly we have much different personalities :) If you are interested in meeting me fill out an application at 2ndChance4LifeRescue.org and we will see if we are a match :))Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5. My name is Dolly and I LOVE balls!!!  I mean I am obsessed with them!!!  I would play ball until I dropped over dead the ranch says so they tell everyone that they need to only throw the ball 4 or 5 times and then give me at least a 5 minute break!  Oh I LOVE my little swimming pool too.  Its just the right size that I can lay down and just "soak".  Mom says I look like a cute little piggie.  Here at the ranch they make sure I don't get fat as that would just take years off my life and make my joints hurt!  I like not being overweight anymore.  I can play better and breathe better its awesome!!!! Fenced yard another pooch to keep me company Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please fill out an adoption application: Adoption application (Dog) Adoption Application (Cat)   Please understand we do not adopt out dogs to families with children under the age of 5.
