Story
Auggie is an older lady who came into our care at no fault of her own. She has been a very pleasant house guest who walked in as if she has lived here forever. She gets along great with the resident dogs and cat, is potty trained, and enjoys eating. Auggie still has plenty of pep in her step and loves a good play session. We would like to see Auggie adopted by a family with pug experience and to have older children in the home due to her size and age. 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. Complete adoption application and submit following appropriate link below: Dog/Puppy: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HRMD/Dog Cat/kitten: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HRMD/Cat It takes us about 1-3 days to process applications. Once approved, we ask that all members of the household (including dogs) be available for meeting the animal within 3 days. If the meeting goes well, you will submit payment electronically and be able to take your new family member home with you immediately! If for whatever reason you do not take the animal home after the first meeting, please understand that we will continue to process applications for the animal and availability is not guaranteed. 4. Please review these resources prior to the meeting to be prepared with what to expect when bringing a new dog home: a. Story
Lyrica: 17 Pounds of Pure Love Lyrica is a curly‑tailed Puggle sweetie who steals hearts everywhere she goes. At just 17 pounds, she’s the perfect little companion. She is small enough to scoop up, big enough to fill your life with joy. Her expressive eyes and gentle nature make her impossible not to adore. Rescued by a private rescuer in the Rio Grande Valley, Lyrica has left her rough start behind and is ready for a brighter future. She’s wonderful with other dogs and loves being part of the action, whether that’s playtime, cuddle time, or simply hanging out by your side. Lyrica is heart worm positive, but don’t let that scare you — she will be fully treated before adoption, and she’s expected to do beautifully. What she needs now is a family who will give her the love and stability she’s always deserved. If you’re looking for a small, loving, curly‑tailed companion who’s ready for her forever home, Lyrica is waiting to meet you. Lyrica is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Frederick, MD on August 22nd with approved application and confirmed adoption. Her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost. If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heart worm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heart worm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance*

Story
Gouda is a playful puppy Like all pups his age, he is curious, friendly, and full of joy! He was rescued with his sibling and mom from a house that had too many animals....and now he is safe and ready for a forever home.

He is with a professional trainer who used to work here at Tracy's Paws and he now has down the basics! Please watch his video. He loves to explore, play with toys, and snuggle in your arms. In true Pug fashion, he’s clever and eager to learn. He would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of playtime, attention, and love. Gouda tested negative for Chagas but he is too young to be tested for heart worm. Heart worm testing is routinely done around 7-8 months old. Gouda is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Frederick, MD on August 22nd with approved application and confirmed adoption. His adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost. If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heart worm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate). Puppies are tested for Chagas at 16-20 weeks and Heart worm at 7-8 months. • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heart worm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular De-worming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed and age listings are our best guess, based on appearance.

Story
Cuteness overload warning!! Have you ever seen puppies as cute as these babies? Born May 3rd – Adin, Calix and Enver are part shihtzu, pug and dachshund mix. All 3 of these adorable pups are males and weigh approximately 3.5 lbs They were born in the South Texas area, along the Texas/Mexico border and were surrendered to us 2 weeks ago as the owners could no longer keep them. Adin, Calix and Enver are the happiest puppies! They LOVE to be around humans and please anyone they are around. They are super duper playful and get the cutest butt wiggles ever. Their butts go completely to the side when they’re excited. These 3 boys love their toys and, they love to cuddle and love just life itself. They are VERY well socialized and if someone breaks in, will do absolutely nothing to stop the burglars besides maybe wag their tails and ask for treats and pets. They are VERY foot motivated and love all food and treats passed their way. They are still just young babies so please understand they will need training, exercise (as much as their little bodies can handle), patience and lots of love and care to offer these innocent puppies. Any family would hit the jackpot to welcome one or two of these babies into your home. These puppies are current on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, microchipped, current on de-wormer, and will receive a clean bill of health from a licensed veterinarian prior to transport. PLEASE READ BELOW: To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We ONLY do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed ($795) INCLUDES transport from Texas to the Northeast. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks: Albany, NY – Only one transport company goes here, once a month Wells, VT and Brattleboro, VT Nashua, NH – Only one transport company goes here, times vary Willington, CT - Stamford, CT - Dayville, CT Steubenville, OH – Cincinnati, OH – Grove City, OH Grove City, PA and Washington, PA – THESE STOPS ARE ON HOLD AS OF 7/1 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE Ridgefield, NJ and Mt Laurel, NJ Emmitsburg, MD and Elkton, MD Falls Church, VA and Glenn Allen, VA We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home. With an approved application, we do put you in touch with the foster who has the animal for you to ask any specific questions regarding them.
