Age: 21 Months Good with dogs? Yes Good with cats? Yes Good with kids? Yes Weight: 14lbs Adoption Fee: $320.00 Any other info: Bosco is a 1.5 year old pug mix with a heart as big as his adorable ears and as cute as his toothy smile. He is currently in a foster home soaking up all the love and attention he can get while he waits for his forever home. This sweet, affectionate boy is the definition of a cuddle bug. His favorite place in the world is right next to his person (or better yet, on their lap). Bosco is a loving, loyal companion who forms strong bonds with his humans. He loves being close to his people, he'll happily follow you from room to room like your own little shadow. He does however get easily spooked by fast movements from time to time. He's playful and goofy, always ready to entertain you with his silly side but he's just as content being a couch potato and soaking up snuggles and cuddles! He enjoy toys like stuffies, Kongs, and tennis balls. Bosco also loves his daily walks (and keeping a close eye on those pesky nutty squirrels!). Bosco is dog and cat friendly. His only big dislikes are cold weather and being alone. He’d best fit into a home with someone that’s around often like a work-from-home owner. During the colder days/months he’ll absolutely need his coat or sweater! But inside he loves being nakey. Bosco is neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines. microchipped, and heartworm tested negative. He is also fully potty trained! With routine and consistency Bosco will do great. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet, loving companion, Bosco is your guy! We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peaks your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Fill out the application completely. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). The introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).-We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.-Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Meet Carmelow!!! Carmelow is a sweet pug mix who just needs the simple things in life. He's not a complicated dog — he just wants to go on walks, be near his person, and maybe show off his little trick where he stands on his hind legs and waves his front paws when he knows a treat is coming. It's ridiculously cute. He's got a medium-to-high energy level, so he does best with someone who is looking for more of an active dog. He LOVES going on his daily walks. He also is a huge fan of exploring and sniffing around, so a short hike is right up his alley. Inside, he's pretty chill once he's had his exercise. He'll hang out right at your feet while you're working or relaxing — this dog just likes being close to his people. Carmelow gets along well with other dogs and warms up to strangers quickly. We prefer Carmelow goes to a home with a fenced yard or at someone who will keep him on leash at all times as he will test the boundaries. *5 years young *Neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, vaccinated. *Dog, cat and kid friendly (may sometimes chase a cat but means no harm) *No need for a crate, not destructive! Apply here to meet this cute boy! https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application
