Story
Time to re-introduce myself! Meet Denny — Mac’s Other Half You may have already met my best friend, Mac. If you have, then you’ve kind of met me too — because where Mac goes, I want to be right there beside him. I was rescued from the streets of Tijuana after being found with a painful compound fracture. I was rushed to the vet, and although they couldn’t save my back leg, they did save my life. And honestly? I’ve decided three legs are more than enough. I run, climb stairs, jump, wrestle with Mac, and keep up just fine — no pain, no limitations, just lots of joy. After my surgery, something incredible happened. My foster mom went back to that same field to rescue other dogs… and she found Mac. We ended up in the same foster home and immediately showed everyone what we already knew: we belong together. Maybe we were brothers on the street, maybe best friends — whatever we were, we are inseparable now. Mac makes me feel safe, and I don’t like being away from him at all. That’s why we must be adopted together. I’m the more sensitive one of the duo — very bonded, very loving, and happiest when I’m not alone. When Mac went for a bath once, I made sure my foster mom knew exactly how I felt about that. Separation is just not my thing. What is that sound? Does it sound a bit like a freight train? Maybe. Oh, its just my little pug snores! My foster mom is a huge pug person and I am the puggiest that they come. I have the sweet eyes, the snores, the under blanket sleeping, and the cuddles. I walk about a mile a day with my foster family and I do great. I have really adapted to this tripod life. If I had to describe myself in two words, they’d be snuggle bug. I love being carried, pressing my head into your shoulder, and melting into affection. I sleep in a crate at night (sometimes separately so we actually settle instead of play), and I do great once tucked in. One of my favorite parts of foster life? The toddler. I absolutely adore her. I’m gentle and give her space, but I love sitting nearby, watching her play, and soaking up her sweet little head pats. I give her lots of kisses and she gives me lots of hugs. I love food, I love playtime, and I’m improving every day with potty training. I haven’t met cats yet, but I’ve done wonderfully with everything else life has thrown at me. If you’re looking for a truly special bonded pair, Mac and I are ready to fill your home with love, loyalty, and twice the heart. Will you be our person?

Story
📣 Public Service Announcement: This tiny pug is dangerously charming. Meet this cheerful little international traveler! This 1-year-old pug from Mexico weighs about 18 pounds and is already settling in nicely after arriving on March 7. He’s friendly, energetic, and getting along great with the other dogs in his foster home. May not be best in a home with kids as he does get mouthy with hands. So far he’s politely ignored the resident cat. He will need work on potty training. He rode home like a champ in his kennel. We’re still getting to know him, but one thing is already clear — this little guy is packed with personality and happy energy and would love a home where he can be someone’s cheerful little sidekick. ⚠️ Caution: This pug may cause excessive happiness and frequent “who’s a good boy?” conversations. Stay tuned as we learn more about this charming little pug — but fair warning… hearts may be stolen quickly. He’s ready to pug his way right into someone’s heart. 🐾 Apply at: www.campcompanion.org Adoption fee: $350 plus tax: approximately $378.46
