Meet Henry! This handsome little puggle is about 2 years old and weighs 22 pounds. He’s energetic, playful, and always ready for fun! Henry LOVES people and is so enthusiastic about greeting everyone he meets. He’s a happy guy with a big heart and a joyful spirit. Henry came to us after fathering his last litter (don’t worry—mama and babies are safe with us and doing great, and Henry is now scheduled to be neutered so his puppy-making days are officially behind him!). Now it’s his turn to be the one cared for, loved, and cherished. Henry would do great with a family who can match his playful energy, give him attention, and include him in their daily lives. He’s ready to start his new chapter and can’t wait to find his forever people!

Basement Babies - Coal Did you know that November 1st is a holiday? It is because it is my birthday and we will need to celebrate it every year!! I am one of 5 puppies who were born under a house to a little 13 pound chihuahua looking mama dog. It wasn’t really in a basement but it was a shelter from the cold and wind. Anyhow, mom was a wild child so we came to the rescue to learn to love people and have a home so we don’t have to walk on the wild side. Some of us look like perhaps mom or even dad had some pug in them, as we have some of the coloring or the shorter mugs of a pug. But all of us are 100% adorable! I am the largest pup of the litter and the one who is a beautiful caramel color. I am very sweet and love to chase my siblings up and down the hallway to the room where our buddy, Busy Boots hangs out. She is great to play with and loves us puppies very much! I will be on the small side, depending on what genetic size my rambler dad brought, but I should be under 15-20 pounds fully grown. I get my baby making bits removed on January 5, 2026 and then will be able to go to my forever home. Will that be with you? Anyhow, I won’t last long as I am adorable, if I do say so myself! Hi there, I am Homero, and if you cannot already tell by my very dignified name, I am quite the character. I am about four years old, a tall pug with a not-so-smooshed face, which means I breathe easier than most of my squishy-nosed cousins. I like to think it gives me a distinguished look… and a pretty good snore. I am a lively fellow with a whole lot of energy, and sometimes that big excitement comes out in ways that are a little confusing to other dogs. I get along with them just fine, but every now and then I forget to regulate my enthusiasm. I promise I am not a mean guy—I just feel things with my whole heart and sometimes my whole body. Toys, playtime, and romping around with dog friends all make me incredibly happy, and I would love a family who enjoys my zest for life. Now, I do have one strong opinion: cats are extremely chase-able. I do not want to live with them, and I do not trust myself to resist the urge to zoom after those mysterious floofy creatures. I came all the way from Mexico, so English commands are still new to me. I am a smart boy, though, and I am learning every day. I was recently neutered, so I have had a bit of a marking issue, but other than that I am pretty much potty trained. With routine and a little patience, I will get the rest sorted out too. Oh—and my voice? It is big. Very big. I bark to say hello, to say “look at that,” and sometimes just to share my thoughts. The good news is I do settle down once I know everything is safe and everyone is listening. Meet Ringo: The Goofy Gentleman from Tijuana with a Heart of Gold Born around December 21, 2022, Ringo made the journey from Tijuana, Mexico to find his forever home—and he’s brought a whole lot of love (and zoomies) with him. This active, affectionate pup treats every walk like an adventure and every treat like buried treasure. He hasn’t quite mastered toys yet but throw a ball and he’ll chase it like it’s on his personal most-wanted list. Ringo is food motivated—he’d probably learn to do your taxes if you paid him in cheese. His leash manners and housetraining are still works in progress, especially when adjusting to a new space, but with consistency and patience, he quickly learns the ropes and settles in like a true gentleman. He’s working on crate training and does well when he thinks he’s flying solo—he’s still learning that crates can be cozy, not lonely. Ringo adores kids, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and greets every human like a long-lost friend. He’s a dream in the car, a snuggle pro on the couch, and would thrive as a social butterfly at the dog park. Curious about cats, Ringo sometimes gets a little too interested in their mysterious ways, but he’s easily redirected and learns quickly what’s off-limits. He successfully lives with 3 cats in his foster home. He also takes his role as neighborhood watch very seriously and may bark at unfamiliar sights or sounds, so he’d do best in a home without shared walls.
