Welcome Johnny to CCPAL Rescue. Johnny is a 7-month-old Pug mixed pup. He is a beautiful tan color with a black muzzle. He has an underbite and a shortened nose. He is a bigger-sized boy pup in the liter. He weighs about 15 pounds now and will be a small dog full grown. He has an adorable underbite and is great with other dogs. He is active but not over the top. He has the curly tail like the traditional pug but maybe the curl is less tight. He is a laid-back boy and was easy to take photos with. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Johnny is one of two boys in the litter. He was the last puppy to come out of his kennel as he was enjoying his nap. He was very workable and stood still and sat willingly on the table for the photo shoot. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. Johnny is social and would be a great dog to take to the local coffee shop. He loves all people and is call in loud situations. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Johnny is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Dolly is an exceptional family pup. She is crate trained and potty trained. She likes riding in the truck and go for walks. She likes other dogs and cats. She likes all people. She loves her dog bed, her toys, hanging out on human couches and playing with other dogs. She is a Puggle (mixed breed) and not sure what her other breeds are since she was found as a stray. San Antonio area has over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Are you ready for Cronk? Cronk is a young adult male pug, almost sable in coloration. He came to the rescue from Laredo where he had a rough life, likely used for back yard breeding. Having now been neutered, as the hormones fade from his system, he will be able to focus with greater ease on other activities. He loves to cuddle, loves to eat, likes toys. He is a happy, sweet boy. He is crate trained & is 80-90% housebroken with a doggy door- quite an accomplishment as he was likely crated except when used as a stud. Although he is dog and cat friendly & loves all people of all ages, he would likely do best as a solo dog given his abusive past. Open up your heart & home to this gorgeous & sweet little pug, so deserving of a loving “furever” home for the next chapter of his life.
