Name: Cher DOB: 3/22/2023Breed:  Puggle MixSex: Female Weight:  14 lb.  Located: BuffaloHi, my name is Cher and I am what they call a Texas Special  but what you would see most is Puggle. To understand me, you need to know a little about my background. Somewhere along the line I ended up in a shelter in Texas with my three pups. a few days ago somebody took my three kids away and sent the four of us to Buffalo. It was a long trip and very scary. When we go to Buffalo after a 30-hour trip I met my foster mom.   She seemed nice but I had gone through so much I was quite scared.   I quickly learned that my foster mom was kind and she had other dogs at her house which has made me feel much more comfortable!   I know how to go outside to go potty.  I love treats and I LOVE to snuggle!!!  I get along with other dogs.   In my foster home, I’ve found that  my little foster dog brother I feel most comfortable with but the bigger one is growing on me.  I do live with cats and still unsure about how I feel about them.If you think that your home would love an absolutely adorable little girl with a ton of love to give and the patience Cher needs to feel comfortable then Cher is your girl!  If you are interested in adopting Cher, please apply at www.716paws.org/adopt or if already approved, message the page to get on her list. ##2689554##

Story
We adopted Carlos when he was 6 weeks old and he is now 3. He was professionally trained on an e-collar in 2025 and has been a work in progress since. Carlos is your typical snuggle pug who loves and needs your attention and will follow you everywhere you go. His favorite hobby is eating. He snores loud and barks louder. He is the most adorable in the early morning when he rolls over for a belly scratch. He also has a split personality and can be very untruthworthy when nervous or scared. He has nipped friends and family in times of high anxiety. We have taken time to doggy daycare and long stays, he has always done well. We first adopted his brother who shares the same parents, from a different litter. They both fight for dominance and Carlos has been digressing with his training and we are no longer able to welcome guests to our home due to his territorial behavior. We feel he would thrive in an environment with no other animals and no small children until trust is built.

Story
Chubbs is a four year old neutered male Pug/Jack Russell Terrier mix. He is learning some basic commands and how to walk on a leash. A sweet boy, Chubbs came to us a little unsure of things, but now loves attention. At 31 pounds, he is the perfect in-between size for anyone who might not know what size dog they are looking for. Chubbs is crate-trained, playful, and needs to be your only dog. He is currently at the Shelter.  Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $100 fee for any county animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier.   Thank you for considering a homeless animal.April 5, 2026, 2:10 pm
