Story
We adopted Carlos when he was 6 weeks old and he is now 3. He was professionally trained on an e-collar in 2025 and has been a work in progress since. Carlos is your typical snuggle pug who loves and needs your attention and will follow you everywhere you go. His favorite hobby is eating. He snores loud and barks louder. He is the most adorable in the early morning when he rolls over for a belly scratch. He also has a split personality and can be very untruthworthy when nervous or scared. He has nipped friends and family in times of high anxiety. We have taken time to doggy daycare and long stays, he has always done well. We first adopted his brother who shares the same parents, from a different litter. They both fight for dominance and Carlos has been digressing with his training and we are no longer able to welcome guests to our home due to his territorial behavior. We feel he would thrive in an environment with no other animals and no small children until trust is built.

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.This little guy FELIX just checks all of the boxes.  He is a great playmate companion to another dog as well as a good cuddler to a human.  He is great at walking on the leash and does not get car sick.  FELIX is happy, happy, happy and always seems to have a smile on his face. 3 years young and 14 pounds, he is the perfect age and weight to add a new family member to your home.  FELIX is a Shih Tzu/Pug mix, I know, what kind of mix is that but he is a gorgeous little dude who is playful and well-behaved and just easy to get along with. He loves every dog, big or small and loves to play, runs zoomies outside when he is suppose to be out there on a potty break!  Of course he loves the girls too!! I will try to get more pictures of FELIX.  If you would like to adopt this little guy, please submit an application on the website below or feel free to call me anytime.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Quinn will be three on January 18th, 2027. She is crate trained, she's potty trained, sits, speaks, dances, and will shake your hand. She has her fenced in play yard, a crate, clothes, food, dishes that all come with her. She is strong for her size as she is roughly 25/26 lbsShe has 2 years left on her rabies vaccine. Great with everyone. We want to find a place for her with a loving family and space to run and play freely. Here we are on a busy road so she is always on a leash when we go outside
