Story
Jesse made his way to BPSBR this past April after years of neglect. His foster home has doubled as a rehab facility and after months of living a much healthier lifestyle, he is ready to find his forever family. He is a svelte 24-lb, 8-10 year-old pug with the soul of a retired gentleman and a deep, unwavering love for snacks. He’s not here for chaos or marathons—he’s here for cozy naps, leisurely strolls, and politely reminding you that it might be time for a treat. This sweet old-man-at-heart prefers a calm environment where he can lounge comfortably and keep an eye on household activities like a supervisor. Jesse is low-key, easygoing, and happiest when he’s near his people (especially if food might be involved). If you’re looking for a laid-back companion who will happily keep you company on the couch and appreciate the finer things in life—like snacks and peace and quiet—Jesse is your guy.

Story
Elliot is a spunky, 10 year old pug. He loves to be with people and is good with other dogs. Cats are unknown as well as children under 7. He is crate trained. We have made the decision to rehome him due to several factors: we are unable to have him with us all the time due to severe allergies, our other dog that he was bonded with, passed in June and due to company downsizing, we've had a significant decrease in income. Elliot deserves more love and attention than we can give him. We will include his crate and a bag of dog food.

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.PUDDIN' and her mother PEACHES are 2 pugs that were dumped early one morning at a local car dealership.  Luckily there were some employees who are dog lovers and took them in for a little while until I was able to pick them up. As usually we look for the flaws in a dog if it was intentionally dumped but very few times do we find any.  That certainly is the case with PUDDIN' & PEACHES, there is absolutely nothing wrong with them.  Each of them is very happy, PEACHES is the more social butterful and PUDDIN' is more reserved.  They love each other and love to be with each other although they do play and interact with the other foster dogs in the home. PUDDIN' is 9 months old and 14 pounds.  PEACHES is 3 years old and 13 pounds.  They both like to cuddle and get head rubs but PUDDIN' lays on her back to get a belly rub.  PUDDIN' is also the one with the slight underbite that makes her look just that more special. PEACHES & PUDDIN' do not need to be adopted together but they would be very happy dogs to have another dog in the home to play and cuddle with. They already walk well on a leash and ride in the car without getting sick.  And on the plus side they are not yeppers, no barking or whining, just running around playing and kind of submissive.  I would love for them to be adopted together but to separate them there would have to be another playful dog already in the home that is interested in one of them.  Neither of them would do well as an only dog. Their activity level is normal, nothing hyper but they do love to run around the backyard playing with each other and toys. If you are interested in adopting PEACHES and/or PUDDIN', please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you for your interest. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         August 21, 2025, 10:07 am
